I still have no idea who he is, despite this story banging around on digitalspy for a few days now. I guess it is significant for the genre, though.

I can't be fucked reading that but yay for Frank Ocean! I never thought I'd see him of all people coming out given that he's written and sung his own material about sleeping with female porn stars etc.
I only really know him as a featured artist on "No Church in the Wild" by Jay-Z/Kanye but he's a pretty well known singer/rapper/writer within the hip hop community. Needless to say the gay issue is still a very big taboo in that industry, similar to country music.

#1 on US iTUnes too, I wonder if he has any shot at getting #1 on the Billboard 200 (not likely cause his digital sales are probably much bigger than the physical sales but it's nice to ponder). It would make quite the STATEMENT
