Someone I know who was in the Opening Ceremony, and I guess is involved in the Closing as well (Twitter to confirm) has HEARD this track.

Well, it's now possible that the Amazon page was a FAKE of some kind... I didn't know things COULD be put on Amazon without them being official, but if you CAN, then who knows!

I have it on VHS! It's AMAZINGLY camp (think Aphrodite Les Folies multiplied by a million) and Kate really can't act very well, but visually it's all really stunning. It's like escaping into a gay coma fairy tale for 45 minutes.

The intro to The Red Shoes would be something else. Hounds of Love the song is so stirring and passionate, I never quite know if it's my favourite single of hers of Running Up That Hill/A Deal With God is as it's just so orgasmic and cinematic.

There doesn't seem to be any pictures of her yet (although saying that, all of the ones of most of the other acts are grainy), but she was rehearsing today with the rest of those involved with the closing ceremony, according to The Sun. Not exactly concrete or reputable, I know.
I overheard somebody on the telly this evening confirming she'd be performing and that she's got "elaborate staging" or something, so I suppose it's just going to be a make or break thing on the night. Apparently, they had someone on This Morning earlier today confirming names and they said she'd be there.
I refuse to believe she's performing. She hasn't done it in a DECADE (and prior to that another eight years or so) and she's going to do it live on telly in front of BILLIONS of people?
