Let's have some love for "Across The Sky"

Now I can see why it got the boot from Hard Candy considering how Justin heavy both versions are - presumably she got the willies about the whole thing threatening to veer into sounding like yet another Timbalake solo album.

It's quite a glorious track though and really much, MUCH more the kind of thing I'd like to hear from her these days.

Hopefully, she's now realised that chasing a younger sound really hasn't worked for two albums now and we might hear more of this kind of thing...

A good track spoiled only by Madonna herself.
Reflected onto the wet pavement, can you see what I see?

Not at all! It's precisely the kind of thing she should be banging out. Despite the lyrics being textbook Kaballah/Zoroastrianism heavy, at least the whole thing feels actually HUMAN.

    Unlike the ENTIRETY of MDNA.

The EXACT OPPOSITE if anything. The vocals and melody are great. The production does its very best to ruin the whole affair.

I love it but I agree, Timbaland productions tend to sound stale after a year or so

I do like this one, even if it mostly just sounds like a Miles Away demo.

Even in demo form it's better than Miles Away. I do rather like it, but like Jark/Pipo say the production lets the side down, which of course is probably down to it being a demo, but obviously we have to judge on what we've GOT. I do love the melody though and as far as latter day Madge VOX go it's a good effort.

I don't have it on mp3 (never felt the need to own it), but I'm sure others can oblige. Or there's this:

I actually get Geru Let Me Love You More VIBES from it

It's a 7/10, possibly verging on an 8 depending on my hormone injections.

    Thanks Lolly!

The vocals are really painful to hear but I don't mind the lyrics and the tune at all. It sounds more like Devil and Voices than the rest of HC which is good.
