Judy Murray might crack a smile today and that ALONE deserves a gold medal

I love the way he's forced to wear the Union flag.

I'm afraid I'll have to get used to Murray winning a lot more now

Murray has endeared himself an awful lot to me over the past few months. I am incredibly happy for him to win the gold medal. And I like Roger lots, too.

I'd rather have Murray than Nadal win a few grand slams if it helps Roger keep his record.

ALSO - the women's tournament featured the three grand slam winners of the year winning medals. The men's tournaments had a non-GS winner grabbing gold, the Wimbledon champion winning silver and someone who hasn't won a tournaments bigger than an ATP250 for the last three years bronze.

THE WTA IS SO UNRELIABLE THEY'RE ALL THE SAME AND COME AND GO WIHTIN 6 MONTHS ETC.

Yes, it does. But they're not going to cause major changes in the rankings except for Kirilenko moving up.

SO impressed with Robson again. Talk about STEPPING UP to the challenge.

But what they'll say (as they always do when this happens) is that Serena dominates meaning none of the new players are any good on the women's tour and in the men's there's just a great depth to the field...

When the opposite happens its because the top 3 are dominating the men's because they are the best players there has ever been and the women don't have the mental strength to win a couple of tournaments in a row!

    The girls can't win!

Surprised at today's results... Thought Roger would win gold and Djokovic bronze. Congrats to Murray and Del Potro though.
