I was a LOT more OTT and pushy with the young/naive/sheltered thing than untitled as recent as a few months ago and I'm doing alright with some people now. He doesn't need to overthink what he posts and what he should be posting and I don't think it's very nice to try and tell him what to do and how to present himself. I'm 20. I can handle it most of the time, if somebody says they find me annoying or think I'm an idiot then I can take that because there are plenty of people out there that I think are idiots. Even if somebody called me a CUNT i'd just laugh it off.

Sometimes though people can get a little bit personal, when people make comments suggesting you lack intelligence or that you need to figure out what is socially acceptable. Not only is that just personal but it's also very degrading. It does upset me a little bit if i'm being completely honest.

Only 2 or 3 people have actually bothered to speak to me personally and we've actually had some good conversations.

At the end of the day i'm just bored, it's summer, I don't have a job... come September once we're back in term times I'll be much busier with my Uni work.

I've come to see that most members of moopy are generally busy working people, and they'll post on here when they have free time, whereas if i'm not going clubbing or shopping with a friend - my free time is constant. I do understand that too much can be too much, but I will not take people telling me how I should or should not act, I've never been told how to act in my entire life and I've always been accepted as being myself so I'm not going to start letting people push me around now.

I never told him how to present himself, I only gave the same advice I gave a couple of months ago. Learning to read the company you are in is a very useful skill for any social environment. I don't mind the question Dinlo. I've asked myself that a few times. It seems I am unlikely in a lot of ways. I don't see a lot in common with most of these people here, but I think that's the lure or challenge, it would be easy to walk away versus trying to find similarites.

Its tough because On other boards I've been voted as one of the funniest posters a few times. Moops does not get my humor at all. So I'm trying to walk without my legs.

And sometimes you can learn things from enemies you can't learn from friends.
