I liked it at first but it didn't seem to go anywhere. It felt more Sigur Ros than Jose Gonzalez to me, which I've tried but never really been able to get into
maybe I need another listen...
Anyone a fan?
I was recommended them by a friend and completely overplayed 'Breeze Blocks' until I had some spare dosh to get their album.
Love the lead singers 'Devendra Banhart crossed with Jose Gonzalez' style vocals and like how he manages to keep an edgier style rather than just be a carbon copy of previous folk sounding singers.

It's not like I'm their target audience or owt but i find this lot genuinely unsettling. The lead singer has such a horrific voice and their Live Lounge last week was a truly distressing experience.
Plus Greg James wanks all over them![]()
I missed this but I'm gonna have to check this out RIGHT NOW...
Edit: Just listened... I'm not really a fan of Tessellate anyway so that was kinda MEH for me. I do agree about their coverPAINFUL!
I really hope that they sounded that lifeless as they were in a studio rather than on stage as that was quite disappointing. No energy at all!
