What is the easiest Olympic sport?

Imagine yourself as a 20 year old, gender neutral shell of a person, with no discernable talents for anything

What would be the easiest event to train for and enter to win a gold?

I was thinking this. If you were obese but had a bit of CLOUT behind you, I'd go for the judo.

If you were slightly built but could get a good physique via gym work, I'd go for the diving.

Failing that, it's gotta be something like the shooting. You could have ANY physique for that.
    Top up, Sue?

Just imagine if more money was pumped into sport at school and you were basically asked at 12: which sport would you like to train for?

Gymnastics might be out of the question at that age, but I'd go for diving or swimming as just think of the body you'd have.
Reflected onto the wet pavement, can you see what I see?

I think with rowing and cycling you can be trained to be a winner in those sports if you're willing to put the dedication in.

Yeah I reckon shooting or archery. I would hate to have to train every day for something really physical. You'd have to give up BOOZE for one thing. OVER MY DEAD BODY

Horsies would be quite fun, except you would have to associate with awful posh people all the time.

I would have loved to been asked which sports I wanted to concentrate on at school although I guess the point of P.E is to see where the TALANT lies. But if youngsters see a sport on TV that they actually enjoy I think they should have a chance to really develop in it.

At the age of 20, definitely something shooting or Archery related. 20 is far too late for most of the other stuff like rowing, cycling, atheltics, swimming etc.

I reckon that Men's Light-Flyweight boxing must be piss easy. You have to be less than 7.75 STONE to enter - there can't be that many around.

If I were 10 again I'd definitely go into athletics. I love tennis so so much but long distance running is something that's always come quite naturally to me.

I'd do the Canoe Slalom but I'd spend most of the time going "Wheeeeeeeeeee!". I do actually think I'd be good at that. I have a really good balance in water. I might go give it a try.

Show jumping in the equestrian. An awful lot of it is having a really good horse and not shitting yourself at the height of the jumps.

I reckon Archery. I'm very good on Wii Sports Resort Plus they have these super stylish expensive bows. Much better than the crap I was given at Multibase summer camp in the 80s.

Did you whittle it yourself from a sapling and some string?

No, they were big fuck-off ones that were nearly as tall as our 8 year old bodies.

Yes - ireland lost a gold a few Olympiads ago for cheating this way.
