I really don't get the judo - it seriously just looks a few women dragged from the fan section of the NKOTBSB concert I went to a few months ago.

Shame she couldn't make the gold/silver final, but hopefully she can bag herself that Bronze.

83.663 really is a MASSIVE score. Dujardin have put over 4% between herself and the second best.

Sailing is often tactical - you should read about Ainslie versus Scheide (sp) in 1996 and 2000.

I don't quite understand the sailing (BBC GUIDE please) but it's great to see Ben pulling it back.

I'm sure, but why did the commentators sound so surprised by it all? 'Ainslie's slowed down! What's going on?! What's he thinking?! We never expected this! Who'd have thought!'

Usually the boats go crazy only in the last race. Ben was doing so well today he was able to work out a way of attacking his main rival (pushing him down and increasing his rivals points), without losing his first place.

Ainslie and the evil Dane are now effectively tied going into the final race.

In 1996, Ben was defeated when his rival tricked him into disqualifying himself in the final race. In 2000 the only way Ainslie could mathematically win was to make his rival end 22nd or lower - he managed to do it.

The dressage is going quite well, but I can't bring myself to watch too much because it really is the dullest thing ever.

Has Federer LOST YET? I kept dipping in and out but it was like a really boring game of cat and mouse so I gave up.

What's confusing? We just find the heart of the prison and the dragon who speaks without walls, and we're home free. Simple.

If Andy wins an Olympic medal will Judy get a Dame Baronesshood? Quite pleased the Argie lost

I caught the judo on the big screen at the city centre. Overheard in conversation when the Ukranian came out was "Look at the fucking size of her - it'd be like trying rape Dawn French getting her on her back like". But there was applause when Judo Brit won.
