I'm getting tired of burning stuff to DVD. I've bought the wrong cable twice.

It depends on how old your laptop is and the connections. If it's relatively modern and has a HDMI connector you just need a HDMI cable. If it's older you'll need a S-Video cable and a Line-In cable for the sound.

In England, if it's a large store, it's not 24 hours - even if it says so. I was always having to explain this to customers when I worked at a '24 hours' Tesco.Was I supposed to make a post about a fucking cable into an EVENT? The tags

The laws on Sunday opening are completely different in Scotland. If its a 24 hour store it's open 24 hours, 7 days a week. High street stores are generally open from 11am to 5pm or thereabouts. Longer at Large out of town shopping centres.
I'm gobsmacked that somebody at least 20 years younger than me (at a guess) doesn't know what a HDMI socket looks like!
