Urgh. Arguing (or actually, trying to raise a valid point) with builders, particularly when they are not your own ones, is rubbish and futile.
They are my neighbours' builders and are building a rear extension (the neighbours are rather conveniently, out of the country) and they have seemingly made one mistake after another. Who knows more about party walls here?
Shut up. They simply refused to budge. It's crazy really, I explained that I am actually doing them a favour by informing them before they get too far into construction (when they'll have to take it down anyway after inspection) but they fail to see what they're doing wrong. Doofuses.
Right, that's an afternoon of calling the council, architects and building regulation officers ahoy. Pants.
I'd just let them make the mistake. If they're not prepared to listen, who cares? Or maybe just phone your neighbours?
I've left messages on their voicemail but to be honest, they are a nice sort and I really don't want to hassle them while they're taking a break.
Edward, if your neighbours are going to go off gallivanting instead of project managing an extension on their house it's their lookout. In other news, i had a bizarre dream last night about the guys from our agency who are coming down for a meeting with us today. And we're going out for dinner and drinks with them later on.

I can't decide whether to work today, I'm tempted to try for a shift this afternoon. But the alternative (i.e. doing NOTHING) is putting me off.
I've already been to the library today! Things are on the up, i may not actually fail. I really quite fancied a boy in there, but on closer inspection he turned out to actually be a lesbian
I've been dealing with DEATH all morning and ddespite my reservations it's actually quite interesting and all a BIT LEGAL. Currently eating last nights SENSATIONAL SPINACH LASAGNE. In other news ALL my birthday cards so far have a kitten on the front!
It's my favourite of the boys SIGNATURE DISHES. He just has an amazing knack of making flavours work...
Oh I HEART SPINACH. Try it with a bit of salt. Simple but SO EFFECTIVE. On the way to work in the morning I keep picking up a spinach and feta slice and a toffee and apple flapjack. I consider these to be TWO of my FIVE a DAY.
Well, it's growing on me be I'll NEVER LOVE IT. It was the easiest way to make me vomit until I was 15 or so I guess. Oh GOD, I love my avatar too much. I can't stop looking at it.
I love all green vegetables, though spinach is one of my least favourites. Broccolli is incredible. *sigh* I'm hungry.
