I don't like 'Sunglasses at Night' very much. L'Amour Toujours is a huge step up.
Sweet Jesus. I thought 2006 at an absolute push.
It was that 00s ELECTRO sound about 5 years before it happened.
Sorry, enjoying some friend-related DRAMA! But I'm still in the room.
L'Amour Toujours is life. I was going to nominate it for dance rate, but I thought I'd get destroyed for it.
This one is such a TOE TAPPER
@Lucille will want to boogie to it
You're a Superstar also takes me back
L'Amour is SUCH a BANGER.
I toyed with La Passion originally but the video was REALLY CREEPY.
Not a fan of L'Amour Toujours. Sounds like Scouse House. That "N ts N ts N ts N ts N ts" sound....
I think this wasn't a hit until about 2001 in the UK...
35. Love Inc – You’re A Superstar (1998)
I've often thought if I ever got on the Voice and had to go through the battle round, I'd want to do L'Amour Toujours and do the deep voiced guy's bit. I think him off The Script would definitely pick me. Proper belter.
You clearly thought both too much and too little of us.
Hell's tits, Love Inc
Love this. And Broken Bones.
I DO REMEMBER THIS!
The final 'don't you be afraid' in this gets me every time.
Yeah Broken Bones also pops, but this is SUCH JOY!
This was a proper big hit, wasn't it? Did it get remixed in 2001 as it seems a little different to how I remembered it being
Oh it's my nom without the disgusting video
Why was this not in dance rate? I blame everyone except myself.
Non mover at number seven for four weeks in a row. Really brings out my inner chart geek. That sort of thing is probably quite common in the streaming age.
It MAY have missed the cut. I did study the final list.
I'm BACK while I wait for Ig to get ready for bed.
Love Inc is the absolute TITS and I'd forgotten all about it
Agreed. I love happy music, you can't be miserable when this is on.
I knew it had a vaguely interesting chart run! Thanks!
36. Yomanda – Synth and Strings (1999)
I seem to recall that being the case. This is the version I love though. Reminded me of CGYOOMYH a bit.
You know, I've watched the Synth & Strings video dozens of times and I can't see what's disgusting about it.
I had to go through about 18 versions of this song which is BASICALLY MADE FOR THE FAIRGROUND!
Name the sample trainspotters!
Come With Me
@ButterTart really did come home JUST IN TIME. Unless he's watching this having a dump in the pub loo. Credit to you if you are.
How have I ended up ahead?
Come With Me. I love this piece of trash.
The best thing about the fairground REALLY IS MUSIC LIKE THIS!
DAAAAANCE YOURSELF DIZZZY
TURN IT UP UP UP UP UP
This really IS special!
37. Special D – Come With Me (2004)
