I'd go in a heartbeat if they came here, but I'm not traveling.
Who knew they were so popular in Deutschland??
15 years, holy hell...
Was Jenny Frost just booted out when Katona came back, or did she want no part?
It seems strange that they wouldn't just all do it as a 4. Both she and Kerry could both do their Whole Again talking parts at the same time, much like the talking part in Madonna's Rain because you just know they'd never pull it off in sync.
Has anyone got tickets to this? Went to pick some up but all sold out
Is there any re-selling type sites? I'm pretty SHIT over here with this kind of thing.
Isn't the clue in the topic title?!
No no I meant the Atomic Kitten tour (posted on the last page)
However it has also just been cancelled.
Or am I completely blonde and that's why it's been put in this topic to begin with?!
I think the highlight of this thread for me is the claim that All Saints are "relaunching in the summer"
Judging by this thread, Devil has already bought the comeback album
Pre-ordered on Amazon babe
Was this cancelled as well ? Or at least the UK part of it. They aren't listed on the Bristol O2 Academy website, and according to ticketmaster all they have is a joint gig with Blue in Scarborough in the summer.
It seems so
Dates for Atomic Kitten’s forthcoming greatest hits shows have been cancelled – with one of the group apparently confirming the tour has been axed.
The Liverpool trio – Liz McClarnon, Natasha Hamilton and Kerry Katona – were set to play a string of dates in the UK and Germany to celebrate 15 years since they released their first hit Right Now.
But fans on social media said they had been told the shows were not going ahead and their money would be refunded.
Most of the dates – including their homecoming appearance at the Liverpool O2 Academy – are now listed as cancelled on venue and ticket websites.
But tickets are still available on the Ticketmaster website for shows in Birmingham on June 3 and in Scarborough – with boyband Blue – on August 29.
Although there has been no official announcement from the group, Kerry appeared to confirm the fans’ cancellation fears in a tweet to a woman who said she was “gutted” to hear the tour had been cancelled.
She wrote: “so are we!! Sooooo gutted but we are still the best of mates xxxxxx”
One fan, Kathryn Weir, shared a screenshot of an email she received from VIP Nation events telling her the tour had been cancelled, and said she was “devastated”.
Atomic Kitten burst on to the pop scene in 1999 with their debut single Right Now and went on to sell more than 10,000,000 records globally.
The Big Reunion stars were due to kick off their tour in Germany and visit London, Oxford, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle and Liverpool.
Last year Garston-born Liz told the ECHO they were excited about going on the road again.
She said: “When we were approached about a tour we thought that’s nice for us but we weren’t sure whether anyone else would want that. But I’m so grateful everyone is indulging us. I can’t believe the response.
“We want to keep it really fun. It’s going to be all the hits. It’s about having a nostalgic night with Atomic Kitten.”
The ECHO was unable to reach Atomic kitten’s representatives for comment.
Should have made it a 4 piece including Jenny, with all the talking parts turning into a Mel n' Missy call and response thing between her and Kerry whether rehearsed that way or not.
Who PAYS for all these cancelled tours? Surely the organisational costs of getting it this far wouldn't be insignificant. And presumably they don't have a record label bankrolling it.
East 17 perform to just 30 people in 800 capacity venue
I saw that. Mind you 2/4 were never in East 17!
The 2/4s that were aren't the 2 most famous ones either. No wonder!
Nice to see Robbie Craig is getting work still, even if it's picking at the scraps.
Oh my. Surely hat show should have just been cancelled. It probably cost more to go ahead than the revenue from 30 tickets.
The guy in the blue shirt.
Did we know about THIS little lineup shuffle?
I originally read that as the whole thing not playing NZ, despite being an NZ tour.
But jesus, could you go any worse vocally for the new member?
I've seen that "poster" a million times in recent weeks and didn't even notice
Who is in East17 these days?
Pathetic old Liz is too scared to fly these days so vocal powerhouse and subtle reluctant famous face Michelle is kindly stepping in for foreign legs of the tour. What a woman.
I actually CAN'T EVEN at a band which has spawned Katona, Jenny LA VOIX Frost and Dame Michelle Heaton.
QUEENS OF NOISE!
Liz as the sole member of Atomic Kitten, later joined on the sofa by Kerreh, at Manchester Pride last year was clearly the straw that broke the hun's back.
Michelle Heaton is now an Atomic Kitten? You couldn't make it up
Who's in S Club 3 these days? Sounds HOT
I believe the main vocalist Tina is accompanied by Jo and Bradley.
Tina Barrett and her AMPLE ASSETS.
Don't worry guys, Liz has a fallback gig.
She's in East 17 too
Oh Amelia Lily, get yourself a nice job at Safeway's instead
omg add GEM to that sorry lineup and I would fly overseas in a HEARTBEAT!
*GEM join SCLUB3 on stage for a Say you'll be there/S Club PArty mashup with Tina doing MENLY's ADLIBS*
Shit like this is why GEM really MUST NOT HAPPEN
It's a SLIPPERY SLOPE.
Which one of the silhouettes is supposed to be NIKI EVANS? I can't tell because they haven't featured her THICK AND MEATY MINGE
Oh Michelle, with a face like a slice of dried up roast beef, taking a break from her busy schedule of going to the gym every day so her fit husband won't leave her, what a pro - Liz sulking because Tash and Kerry are off on a night out without her despite asking her repeatedly probably not something the other 2 will miss. The continued absence of Jenny Frost is a bit interesting though. I also love that Heaton takes centre stage in that picture. And I wonder if 2nd billed B*Witched is the full line-up?
