It does indeed. I just don't think it's very good before that point.
I always end up buying All Saints albums and always draw the same conclusion that they're a great singles band with very patchy, average albums. No doubt I'll get this anyway.
You'd BETTER BE
For the record, this is rather flaming MARVELLOUS
Love when it kicks in. Not too sure yet on first half.
I adore them but their albums bore me a bit. But still, there's always at least 4-5 tracks that are incredibly good making it worth the while.
Saints and Sinners is still an album I adore, despite thinking half of it is SHIT. I can't even get my own head around how that works.
The Love Lasts Forever video being an Apple exclusive, this not on Youtube yet:
On first listen rhyming glorious and victorious can only make me think of Bengtzing and Jenny Velvet.
Oh I’m moving this
I don’t love Glorious, it’s feels more like an album track than a single for them further down the line
So glad these are back - and I have just booked Radio 2 Live to see them in September with Kylie headlining - what a line up!
Really liking the lead single - its not as good as One Strike but it does the job and is a good addition to their singles catalogue. Glorious is growing all the time too and I think will make a fitting opener to their live shows - as they desperately need another opener that is not 'chick fit' or 'I know where it's at'
The third taster from the album released the other day 'Three Four' sounds a bit of a MESS but I have only listened once or twice.
Yeah listened to the third song to come out and I didn't really like it.
Three Four is a mess. But Spotify pleasingly went on to play One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Once I Caught A Fish Alive straight after it, so l was pleased to be able to relive that banger one more time.
Three Four is just Shaz-Bags and Mel in the studio thinking they are 21 again. All Saints are at their best with Orbit sounding cool harmonies and the beautiful tones of DAME QUEEN NAT.
Managed to get tickets to this next week
Where have you been? Lovely to see you back.
Could they please tour somewhere OUTSIDE the UK?
LLF added to the R2 B-list.
Three Four is ok. So far the material seems just a notch below last time, but looking toward to hearing the Orbit centrepiece of the album.
Love Lasts Forever up to R2 A-List
Setlist from Brixton last night:
1. Who Do You Love (new track)
2. Bootie Call
3. Rock Steady
4. Three Four (new track)
5. One Strike
6. After All (new track)
7. I Know Where It's At
8. Chick Fit (awful track)
9. Under The Bridge
10. Glorious (new track)
11. Black Coffee
12. Don't Look Over Your Shoulder (new track)
13. Never Ever
14. Love Lasts Forever
15. Pure Shores
I've been enjoying it all so far (Three Four's rather less stellar status notwithstanding) but I do agree that nothing we've heard so far is up there with their very best. They're usually very good at pushing out the best songs as singles so that's a bit of a worry.
Still, I'm very much looking forward to the album nonetheless.
Jonfessions heard one of their William Orbit songs live last night and declared it a "future classic"
Has he left here btw?
He hasn't posted in years, has he?
I saw him at the Louise Redknapp gig in Manchester a few months back. I don't get the impression he left here for any particularly dramatic reason.
Last seen September 2016. It feels like at least double that since he was a regular, though.
Ah ok. I think I just see his stuff on Twitter so often I haven't felt the absence.
which are the William Orbit songs?
'Don't Look Over Your Shoulder' is being released tonight at midnight.
All the album will be out before release date at this rate
I'm looking forward to some TV performances of LLF which I am assuming will be coming in the next two weeks
After All is a William Orbit one.
I was there last night and they were good as normal. Always hard to gauge the new stuff when live and in amongst the hits. But all seemed decent, not sure which I preferred out of them.
Give up Chick Fit already though!
It may have taken me 8 years to get it, but Chick Fit is all
"Testament In Motion" is the other Orbit one but they didn't perform that. Hopefully "After All" was suitably epic.
Don't Look Over Your Shoulder is now available to stream and erm...its better than Three Four. But not as good as LLF
Again, its quite different and the best thing about it is the band arrangement, its very jazzy/bluesy and is a good album track..it may grow
I like it, but yes it is clearly album track fare. Hopefully they have another single or two in the bag.
Not sure what I think of the new one yet either
Other than Love Lasts Forever I’ve been fairly underwhelmed
subject to change
08 Love Lasts Forever
06 Don't Look Over Your Shoulder
04 Three Four
After All live.
After All officially the second single and available this Thursday
Radio 2 Live session with Chris Evans this Friday, day of album release
Any sign of BBC Breakfast or the One Show?
They did BBC Breakfast this morning
Lolly speaks - All Saints listen!
Testament TOUR announced for this Winter too. Red Flag tour was brilliant, I'll definitely be going again
So 'After All' has been released and my god its classic All Saints..love it.Finally a moment from this album up with their best
I wonder if they'll perform their classic single "Chick Fit" on the Testament 2018 World* Tour.
(*England, Scotland and maybe France)
