Dame JOAN COLLINS is joining for Season 8
OMG. Dead at this. God BLESS YOU Ryan Murphy.
He's also "interested" in Anjelica Huston.
the directing of this is hysterical, it’s like watching a Goosebumps special of Days of our Lives
The cast for this season is great, but I worry we will suffer with another underwhelming plot and the debatable use of the word horror.
hi moderator, my post above does not belong here but in the Cult one
Every season of this seems to run out of steam at latest two thirds of the way through but the woman behind Mary Cherry getting work again gives me joy.
Um so is QoL Jessica Lange coming back?
I think you see her briefly in the trailer in what I believe is her Murder House attire
but what do these two stories have to do with each other anyway?
I’m sure Ryan will have found the most ham fisted way possible to unite them.
The kid from season 1 is Damian and the witches from season 3 will fight him.
Wig snatched. I'm back on board. Goodness me Roanoke and the one before it were hard work but I'm here for this.
I thought the daughter in Murder House ends up in Coven, no? So they are connected for sure.
Also if we get more Dylan McD nudity then my body is here for that.
that's true! both of them actually
She will play both characters. The season 1 girl is a ghost stuck in the house and season 3 is another girl.
I was thinking about Nan, you ableist!
Nan hasn't been in the previews so I don't think she's in the season. I was saying that both of Taissa Farmiga's characters are considered separate characters and they will both appear in this season.
This looks insane
Also, that trailer was brilliant until Kathy Bates says "Hail Satan"
What a ridiculous campfest. Feels like I'm watching a video game.
Joan's "It's full of FYBA" was the best
So Joan Collins plays the deluded old rich housewife
Leslie Grossman plays the spoilt blonde heiress
That gay from RuPaul plays...a gay from RuPaul
and Sarah Paulsen plays a mental case.
If this episode is anything to go by, I'd say the season will suffer from the same problem as most other seasons. The exposition is just weak. The audience is just spoonfed information like a video game tutorial, instead of letting it play out naturally. I think I said this about Cult, but the show feels like it KNOWS it's a show, hence the info dumps and the campy audience-pandering.
