Amazing. I'm opening now. I'll be away from keyboard though.

It's also raining though if that makes a difference (fishing).

Anyone else noticed a lot more dissent among their villagers of late? I've mediated three disputes in the past two days.

I do hope this is the start of some kind of horrifying Lord of the Flies esque spiral that ends with Coach and Bettina's heads on a pike outside the plaza. :disco:

I only just bought DIY for Beginners. I must have just went straight for Beyond Your Wildest Dreams by Lonnie Gordon as I also belatedly only got the 2nd one about a month ago too. Maybe I thought the 3rd had them all.

I was getting very fed up waiting on what I now know is the hay bed (for Tucker's surroundings outside) and was wondering just how far into the future the frying pans were going to be.

I've just put the finishing touches to my movie-themed portrayal of Gruff as a satanic outcast and businesswoman. It's right next to the beginnings of my wedding area so I like the contrast.

I Mt. St. Helensed my western mountain area, to rebuild it as a CASTLE. I think the top level is sorted but the middle bit is a bit of a mystery, not sure what to put there

Did they just arrive?! Whenever I have an empty plot I pick a new villager from a Nook Miles island.

I'd hate for one to just SHOW UP

Next time I do that I need to remember and look up what their house is going to look like. Baarbara has the most opulent house of the lot so far, but I didn't want to pass on Goldie as I want her picture.

Is it true it's not over after the pictures and you need to continue the ingratiating and grooming so that they give you a poster of them? I've been dropping them like rocks after they hand over their pics (just like in real life, etc)

Also, do they have wine glasses or wine bottles as items? The alcoholics on my island can't be doing with just coconut cocktails.

Once you take a photo of them at Harvey’s island, you can buy their poster in Nook Shopping! Pretty sure the picture is the highest level of friendship.

Oh thank god. I found wrapping up specifically tailored items in paper that is their favourite colour exhausting.

Now they're getting on my nerves wanting to buy things in my inventory. Am I heck giving you that unpronouncable fish or crafted item. Do they think money grows on trees...

Oh speaking of. I had no idea you can grow star fragments trees. I wonder if it will work for star fragments as they're the ones that are harder to collect.

Also, I didn't realise you can only makeb20 wishes as you will never get more than 20 peices in the morning. I still remember the bitter(ling) disappointment when my beaches weren't covered in fragments like a scene where all the crabs migrate.

I have Judy (Gabor) from tier 1. She has grown on me and I hope she enjoys her flashy new surroundings.

Goldie at 14 tier 2 I'm just not buying.

Fuchsia at 7 tier 3 is one of my favourites, purely on a visual level. She's not always easy to predict fashion-wise.

And that's it - the rest are in the bottom 2 tiers. They must be identikit characters (Goose as the jock, etc). I have grown fond of Gruff - he's seen things. Tucker simply has to be wearing make-up, so I'm surprised he isn't higher. Alfonso and his sporadic Yoshi sounds is basic, but likeable. Winnie is super bland for a horse - she's the only one I would actively try to replace (her favourite colours are the non-colour white and grey - and she thinks she's a star?)

Harv's Island? Just go into any of the rooms in his house and place all your villagers along with furniture items/wallpaper etc anywhere you like, take a photo, and then the posters will be available to buy when you get back to your own island.

Well you just pick them from your inventory once you're there and place them in the room! They're all in a weird trance-like state so won't speak or anything. It's a little disturbing.

I've only seen them on YouTube, but I'm going to plant one and see. They should look amazing at night, especially on the highest level or indeed at Christmas.

OMG my highest is Chadder, #38 in tier FIVE :D
I don’t know how people decide though, Cashmere is a delight and she’s BOTTOM 4 of ALL OF THEM.

I’d love an octopus to move in though, especially the Takoyaki one

Tier lists are gross and I do not recognise them, ALL ISLANDERS ARE PRECIOUS

Also I've spunked over 600,000 bells on turnips today, let's see if it pays off for me :eyes:

What wedding items have people got? I'm wondering if it's random... I got the flowers and the table.

I hope we get that pride hanging thingy outside Harv's abode.

I'm getting close to feeling like I've got a first "final" version of my island. It's like the end of an (isolated) era is nigh.

    Oh now she wants spoilers.

Basically, you fly to Harvey's, arrange furniture, take pictures and are given free items and currency to buy more (hearts). I think/hope you get a different new item given and to buy per day.

Day 2. I think it's on all month and there's not enough items to mean you need to go more than half a dozen times tops.

I did the first one. Not really that interesting, I couldn’t give a shit about weddings and you can tell from my house that interior design isn’t exactly my strongest suit :D
