Cycle 4 was my favourite and I really enjoyed the All Stars season (as crazy as Tyra had become by then).

Was that awful US vs UK season after the All Stars because I couldn't even finish it. And I've only watched first episode of the season with the guys.

I loved the two Jays, it's whatshisname the photographer that became unbearable in the later seasons.

I don't really see how Rita will work. I get that it's probably not terrible credible anyway but at least Tyra kinda knew what she was talking about because she's an actual model so could lead things on all fronts. And yes, her being so ridiculous added to it.

Judge wise nobody beats Paulina Porizkova. <3

Tyra might not have been up there with the likes of Naomi or Kate, but she was pretty big and successful. But then being experienced doesn't always make a good presenter. Elle Macpherson was seriously dull and VACANT on BNTM.

But I don't think any replacement scold ever give us a moment like this one, my single favourite moment in ANTM EVER.

Who was the cunt judge with the dog?

The show was in decline for me when he rocked up.

I don't think I realised that B&INTM returned earlier this year. Was it any good?

Hated him in the later seasons, he kept backing the girls I hated and his ego grew along with Tyra's.

He did have excess levels of smarm and grease but I thought that rather added to the appeal :D

I used to love how crap "fashion icon and living legend" Twiggy was. Everytime she was introduced, she'd come out with a "HAI GURLS" drone that was pure CROYDON and the CRITIQUES were no better

Nigel was pretty humourless as well. Wasn't there some shoot in a bullring when one of the models made a quip about something and got savaged from disrespecting him?

I think he was similarly heartless (along with Latino Jay) in that photoshoot where they shoved a girl into a grave for a pic even though her friend had died that morning :D

Nole something was him with the dog. I liked him, I'd even say that he was more attractive than Nigel.

Twiggy was really just an old Emma Bunton, wasn't she?

He was the one who seem most torn between who he actually thought was any good and who Tyra thought made good television. I quite liked him to be honest but he was dry and boring as the host of The Face.

The point system was just fantastic on Tyra's part. Everyone else thinks you're shit, but I'm going to give you a 9.432 to keep you safe. :)

    I think that was Caridee.

The lady judge who came after Twiggy was good but then Tyra had to get rid of her.

Mr Jay was replaced by a lovely photographer or 'creative director' or whatever in one of the boys versus girls cycles but he left after that one stint.

    Johnny Wujek.

To be fair to Tyra, apart from some of the winners (I'll still never understand how Saleisha won, apart from knowing Tyra about ten years before), she did a good job of keeping the characters in.

Remember the whole Angelea Preston debacle on the All Stars season when she just mysteriously disappeared but it turns out had actually WON the cycle but they had to refilm the winner again! :D

I can't get over how they were going to let Angelea win when Lisa was the clear winner from episode one. It's for these things that made Tyra hateful.

The blond "fat" girl from same season as that odious Somalian girl is my least favourite winner. God I hated them both so much. I can't remember (without checking) which one I liked though.

Whitney. She was terrible and her win came completely out of left field. Blatantly shoehorned in because they wanted a plus sized winner.

    I fucking HATED Lisa!

Was that Somalian one the one who went through FGM? What fat girl do you mean? Whitney?

We need a list of the winners. I'm struggling here.

We did manage a thread for each cycle for a few, I think. Not terribly active, but it's hard to imagine now.

    Yes, Whitney!

Lisa was perfect in the All Stars cycle (less so in her original cycle).

She came in and Tyra called her a drag queen and a catalogue model. She came back the following season and won.

Ann Ward! I'd forgotten her, she was fucking AMAZING. She won pretty much every week, didn't she?
