    MORNING.

My first day of a week's holiday and I'm awoken at 6.30 am by Tisch's phone saying "WELCOME TO NEW BIXBY."

    Fummin'.

Quick return trip to the dentist this afternoon, otherwise the day is clear. I could do with another week of this but never mind.

I am REALLY worn out so have decided to take a couple of days out to collect my thoughts. My cleaner/psychiatrist was in earlier and seems to have helped me get things a bit clearer in my muddled old head.

I’m going to celebrate this B*witching thread title by doing a little HNGH at the start of every line I sing

I think it's onomatopoeia for that weird noise the lead singer used to make all the time.

It’s an untranslatable Gaelic word that could be interpreted as “I can’t quite hit these notes without taking an unsubtle vocal run-up”

"Hngh" is the sound of my old aunts scoffing when they discover I'm getting a BA in English

"Hngh" in Scotland usually indicates constipation.

Britney uses it too, perhaps not surprising because of her MA in Ancient Gaelic

It's a little known fact that this umbrella actually originated 2,000 years ago in County Down

Now being renamed Posters of the Woke, which suggests that any ranking of posters is offensive and that we're all probably racist anyway.

Yeah, I'll sort it out later. Everything always goes so smoothly when Indie is away, I'm sure this will be no different.

Yeah, he's on a fact-finding mission with the Castro family in Cuba.

Meanwhile, I'm having the same problem with the spreadsheet as last time :( This week's chart might be delayed a while.

Seems fine. Warmer than home. People speak Spanish. Everyone wants to give me a taxi ride.
