Intoxicated is sneakily good, didn’t jump out on first plays but has really revealed itself with repeated listens.

I’m pretty confident this is the best duo album. Just one song short of being start to finish fabulous.

I think the five 10/10 highs on Drama give it the title for me, but I take your point...

My friend went last night and they were asked - 'Have you ever slept with a fan, or are they all gay?' to which they replied 'They are not immune!' :D

They really should be given their own show!

Have any of you interested seen that Cherry Red have some stock of Drama and Viva on coloured vinyl from Record Store Day?

Keren with some ridiculous sleeves getting so into it that I thought she might combust during I'm On Fire was one of my gig highlights:

Siobhan mentioned Bananarama in an interview with Sky today. I see her point but I also don’t think she could have reasonably expected Keren and Sara to just shelve a very good pop album which was pretty much done and put on hold before the tour became a real thing.

"The Bananarama tour was a really wonderful experience for me," she says. "That was like writing the closing chapter of that book and closing the circle, to celebrate what we had been and what we did together.

"But although it was wonderful, it felt a bit redundant because there was no new music."

I think it will still happen. "In Stereo" was completed pretty much, as you said, and I think it's no coincidence that and the Shakespear's Sister reunion are happening roughly at the same time, but we'll see.

The new tracks on the SS compilation can't help but draw attention to the lack of anything similar from the Nana reunion.

I'd like to think new music with Siobhan is still a possibility, but how quickly they seemed to abandon the idea of any new material when writing over one Biffco backing track didn't work out for whatever reason does make me wonder.

:D at Sara having enough of talking about Girls Aloud and moaning about how heavy the microphones are instead.

I guess that is Looking For Someone pretty much confirmed as the next single then too.

What have they done to poor Keren's face now?

State of both of them. Serves Keren right for being horrible to Siobhan during the (now not so) mysteriously brief reunion and let's face it, it was almost CERTAINLY her who had the mouth on, even though Siobhan hasn't said quite as much

On which note, very much liking La Fahey BLABBING ALREADY :disco:

I can’t believe they aren’t going for “Love in Stereo” but then I guess the royalties are a factor in THAT decision...

They've both said Looking For Someone is their favourite, it is popular with fans and I think Radio 2 played it the most when it was their album of the week.

If they do get to single three it really has to be Love In Stereo though.

The remix to be 'revealed tomorrow' is Tonight by BLBL. The Spotify presave takes you to the tracklisting.

They had an interview with Liz Kershaw on Radio 6 this afternoon during which she ambushed them with their version of Moves Like Jagger. Their reaction was pretty much entirely as you would expect.

Well the radio mix of Looking For Someone has a new intro but a chunk of the chorus/time is ticking part at the end lopped off. More is lost than gained I think; it's fine but the album version works better on first listen.

It is on the New Music Friday playlist again (also featured on album release week). Stuff Like That and Dance Music did not feature when they were released.

Yes it was top 30, the highest peaking duo album. I properly love it.

I see they've taken the taken the opportunity to drop their favourite I Want You Back. I like Dance Music but don't think it is a thrilling live track, good that they are still playing Love In Stereo though.

The album may not have gone the distance on the chart but they are obviously still in favour at Radio 2. Looking For Someone is playlisted this coming week... A LIST ONLY. :disco:

Nice they packed them in at Glasto, they seem surprised people came along. I think the trio tour, In Stereo, the intimate gigs and this has been good for their confidence.

    Aw, bless 'em.

I weirdly had no idea that "Love In Stereo" was a Sugababes (redux) cover until last night.

How wonderful, they do seem excited.

Sara sounds quite hoarse, and Keren fretting that she may have been out of tune due to technical difficulties. :D

Fourth week on the A-list upcoming for Looking For Someone. Bless those middle aged homosexual movers and shakers at Radio 2.

They should go ahead and send Love In Stereo to radio next. They are doing the Radio 2 Hyde Park thing so I imagine they might be likely to be supportive again.

They popped up in some quite brief clips on Celebrity Gogglebox on Friday. Twitter mentions seem to have been mainly 'who are they?', and I saw one that noted how they had changed and were now 'very Waitrosey'.

I wonder if they'll appear again or if it was a one off.

I’m still enjoying ‘In Stereo’ and on Friday ‘Live In Stereo’ comes out. I think I’d have preferred a live dvd of the duo show than cd but the tracklist made me chuckle, the dropped songs leaving a very royalties friendly Dallin/Woodward line up.

They didn't film the gigs as far as I'm aware, which is a SHAME because it would have been nice to have, but I'll bite for this :disco:

I'll buy this OBVIOUSLY but find it hard to be too excited about it (as noted a DVD would have been a different matter entirely).

Regarding the omissions in the tracklisting I know they could be keen to maximise royalties, but would a Siobhan cowrite or two have made that much difference on a release that is going to be of very niche interest anyway?

They varied the set list slightly over the shows, but based on the one I saw they've cut On Your Own as well as Cruel Summer and Love in the First Degree. It is possible the former was not salvageable vocally I suppose. Love in the First Degree sounded the same as the usual but I think Cruel Summer (like Venus) had a unique arrangement.

There wouldn't be any rights issues with the Siobhan stuff one presumes? She got quite PRISSY when they re-recorded Venus and Really Saying Something, didn't she? Maybe they just didn't want to piss her off...

Summer Night City is also missing from my gig, but that's no shock at all.

For Degree in particular I think it is likely that Siobhan's voice was in the backing track they were singing along with so don't know if that may have been an issue.

I wonder if Summer Night City will ever see the light of day in studio form? I have to say I imagined a re-release was more likely than this live album, and thought it could have appeared on such a reissue

I'm not sure a reissue would be THAT worth their while. Let's face it, it was pretty much a fan only purchase, which means they're playing to the same crowd. I also doubt there was a slew of new material recorded they just had lying around...
