Is it not entirely clear what this will entail but signs are Ms Fahey is returning:

    https://twitter.com/VivaBananarama

A tour? New music? I wonder where this leaves the new album that Sara and Keren have been halfway through for half a decade, I can't imagine Siobhan chiming in over an Ian Masterson backing track.

Please let this be another glorious comeback for 2017. I do hope that Pete Loraine is involved again, some more good old nepotism wouldn't hurt.

A Siobhan return would be MARVELLOUS, but yes, you have to wonder where that would leave the music. It would have to be a very different direction to a Keren/Sara helmed piece of work, but then who knows how bad the financial situation is Chez Fahey. Still, the three of them and the Aie A Mwana reference has to mean what it says on the tin, right?

Siobhan was asking the girls for a Richard X song the last time, which seems like a simple enough request... I just want another Look on the Floor (Hypnotic Tango) quite frankly.

Not sure I want anything new from them but a 30 year anniversary tour to celebrate the cultural happening that was Wow would be welcome.

Shuv could even wheel out a couple of SS's best known hits with K&S taking on Marcy's role.

Would it be too horrible if they gothed it up and dressed up as her?

Actually scrap that idea, get Jacqui O back, put shitloads of mascara on her, get Keren & Sara to make her cry and she can do Marcy's bits.

All four on tour would be amazing but that won't ever happen.

And I do want new music. The last album still proved they have "got it", in that the two singles were up there with their very best...

The more I think about this prospect there really is the possibility of so much messiness.

Did we see Shuv's reemergence from last year? I'm fascinated to see this impending meeting of worlds, especially if there is to be new music.

I met a gay last week who recently booked the 'Nanas (just Sarah & Keren) for a racing event in Pontefract.

"They've been a complete fucking nightmare. They're doing a forty minute set and they're demanding three bottles of champagne - EACH, a private chauffeur to and from the venue and private rooms in a five star hotel. I had to tell them there's no such thing as a five star hotel in Pontefract!

I never had this hassle with Bucks Fizz last year. They arrived in a little fiat, did a bit of shopping and drove themselves home after."

    :D

Just how it should be - for both bands! :D

I can't begin to imagine how the three of them back together would even begin to sound these days, but this is very exciting news indeed.

This is the studio version, it isn't quite the same without the visuals though:

Keren's head does look strangely stuck on to one side though.

The shorter, choppier hair dos now make sense as kind of a meeting in the middle with Siobhan's more alternative aesthetic.

I wonder if it will be just (well I say just) the tour and no new music... I guess all will be revealed!

The Fascination logo suggests not if you ask me...

They've mysteriously deleted the tweet now, though.

Fascination are a management company rather than a label now though. Either way it is a good thing that he's involved, a true Nana fan and marvellous things have been done with Steps and All Saints recently.

Oh I didn't realise that. Maybe not new music then- but you'd think it would be the right time to launch a new album if they're going to bother. I wonder if Siobhan would be in on that, though? Her musical direction doesn't seem remotely close to the Keren and Sara school of Hi-NRG...

Certainly Bournemouth AND Brighton for me (the same week as Steps and Alison Moyet as well...I may as well just book it off now before I fall into a MASSIVE GAY COMA)

Exactly. I could maybe imagine enough compromise to get a song or two completed but an album might be a stretch.

I don't know if I WANT a new album with the three of them. I LOVE them as a threesome but I don't think Siobhan would fit into the Bananarama sound of the last few albums and she'd only do it with gritted teeth. A couple of songs together is fine though.

No idea. I'm sat here debating just how many gigs I can realistically get to...

I wonder if Siobhan will do any of the post "Wow" stuff with them? I mean, realistically they could ignore it entirely and the more "general" crowd won't be bothered as there was nothing HUGE post "Help", which they won't need to do, but I imagine she'd be the sort to be quite PRECIOUS about having a bash at "Movin On"...
