not too thrilled on first listen (i generally dislike choruses with that kind of structure), but the beat is good and there are some vocal lines in the verses that i think will pretty much give it strength - my favourite bit altogether are the vocal lines at the end

otherwise it's pretty much beat driven and more minimalistic than previous stuff... it should do well cause it's beyonce

I've decided I'm not going to listen to it again until we get a HD version, preferably without the DJ/MC feeling the urge to SHIZZLE MY NIZZLE every couple of bars or so.

    Tuneless shouty abrasive NOISE.

HOWEVER this is exactly how I felt about Single Ladies (PAROI) Video Phone & Diva and look what happened there.

With the inevitable U-turn in mind I'm going to say a month in advance that it's FUCKING AMAZING. Despite the lack of melody there's no doubt this is THE pussy popping anthem of '11.

At the moment it's just THERE, all big and shouty, her BLEAK GHETTO stuff is never instant with me. It will in time be a classic though, it feels too much of a moment not to be.

There's so many LET'S MAKE A DANCE TRACK singles out there it's becoming so fucking TIRING. Whenever someone premier's a single you just know what to expect, big fat synths, 4x4 beats, singalong chorus and some stu stu stuttering.

This has really THROWN me and is another beast entirely.

The sample will make it HAPPEN so to speak. Also the video sounds/looks incredible, frankly I can't WAIT to scream this shit stood atop a tank in a TKO (Tina Knowles original) :disco:

Also I imagine when I witness this live at GLASTONBEE '11 there'll be an exact repeat of my 'Through With Love' stretcher moment at DC Fulfilled in '05

    It just screams GAY MASSACRE.

    YES

Love it or hate it, but at least she hasn't just dropped a RedOne production which, being Bee, would no doubt be fabulous and amazing and we would all live for it, but it's not what we would expect from the QUEEN!

I can already tell this albums direction is going to be SUBLIMEY OBSCURE thanks to the departure of the number One Bitch in the game Matthew Knowles.

I just listened to the shitty Youtube rip again through my HEARTBEATS and FUCK ME hard with a diamanté' cowboy hat and call me Farrah Franklin the bass on this is NUCLEAR.

WHO RUN THIS MOTHA?!?! :disco: :black:

It's already FLOWN from a 4 to a 7 in the space of 2 hours.

Only a true ARTISTÉ could unleash something so utterly TUNELESS and have the gays (who are obv fans of MELODY and LYRIC) on board in less than 24 HOURS :disco:

Let's not diss "Judas" too quickly :eyes:

It's alright enough but then I don't like Single Ladies OR Ring The Alarm much. Sounds like more of the same to me - what a BORE.

    I don't know.

I don't think the finished version will be much different - it's not like they can put a MELODY ANYWHERE is there? :basil:

I heard some snippet yesterday (maybe it's the one you all heard) and it sounded like the noise Gwen Stefani used to beat my ears with with her solo releases (bar 'The sweet escape').
Conclusion: I'll wait for the finished version before I formulate an opinion.

At the moment this just makes me want to go and listen to the (amazing) Major Lazer album once again, I might be a bit TOO familiar with the original to be able to give this an impartial listen until it is being blasted at me from every angle (ie. TWO WEEKS).

But its alright, didn't make me desperately want to hit the replay button.

The pictures from the video are getting me ROCK SOLID however. YES PLEASE BEE.

I think I like it... But all I can hear is Bucky Done Gun, perhaps without the shouty man ruining it and my full focus on the Queen's lyrical assault it will all become clear

No word from her camp yet and she hasn't even acknowledged it's EXISTENCE

Come on B it's been doing the rounds for HOURS! (if it was 2006 this wouldn't matter One iota but it's all about CAPTURING THE MOMENT these days with leaks).

The final version will feature that amazing siren noise as well as the beat (which you can hear on this version) from PON DA FLOOR.

I'm trying not to play this too much so the final version doesn't sound ODD when it does leak *reaches 45 plays*

    When that bass drops...JESUS CHRIST.

Anyone listening to this on anything less than huge speakers with BASS BOOSTER applied needs to RE-ASSESS this EXPERIENCE.
