Shit winner, and it all felt a bit rushed. Still, though, Emma fighting back tears still made it a real moment. I can't remember the last time I've enjoyed Big Brother as much as I have this year. I feel BEREFT now that it's over, and I can't believe it's ending after such a stellar series.

I was considering watching just because last one, you know. And I wanted to see Emma's reaction. But I really NEEDED to avoid Rylan's.

I can’t be bothered scrolling through but I think I called it at the start of the series. That’s what watching 18 civilian series (and countless celeb versions) does for you.

I did change to Lewis though, but that doesn’t count as he would have won if he wasn’t chucked out.

I loved how quickly the montages skipped over the various Channel 5 series last night, lingering on the C4 years much more.

A final FUCK YOU to a channel which has stifled the production company throughout :oi:

It's a shame the Channel 5 years will always be considered inferior. They did have some AMAZING housemates (The Rt. Hon Adjoa Mensah, out and out villainous cunt Arron, pretty much all of this year's cast), and Emma SHAT ALL OVER fucking pious Davina as a presenter.

With a vote to evict you lose early most of the big characters, which is a shame. I wonder why they never tried a vote to save like in CBB.

They did do at least one vote to save civilian series on C5, can’t remember if it yielded better results. And this series they tried to switch it half way through via an app vote but the locals stuck with vote to evict.

The last ever series - which had launched to 900,000 viewers at the start of September - finished with an average audience of just 700,000.

It's Big Brother's least watched final by far, down 300,000 viewers on last year and 800,000 belown 2016.

Throughout its run, the show found itself shunted around the schedules, airing at various times between 9PM and 10:30PM, with some episodes finishing at midnight.

Overall, Big Brother averaged around 700,000 viewers based on overnight figures this year - down around 100,000 on 2017 - it's least watched series ever.

Seeing those figures laid out like that is quite sad really. Do you have the figures for all the C4 series?

But it isn't really surprising, it did last a long time, but I think many people just got bored. I am a classic example. In the early years I was aa COMPLETE addict and watched all the live streaming till the early hours of the morning but CBB aside, I haven't watched the civilian one since the Samanda year. (was that 2008?)

I do wonder whether another channel will pick it up, but it probably needs a few years off. I think CBB still has a lot of mileage left in it though.

What?! If I was a betting man, I’d say the other one was Anamelia.

Cian finding a way to somehow trade down from Cameron is quite a feat. He’ll be balls deep in Steve Buscemi before the year’s out at the rate he’s going.

I suspect that isn't a particularly flattering angle. But then it's not a flattering picture period.

Still, that’s really not on of Luke to do that. If that was a woman he posted a photo of he’d probably be arrested.

In fact isn’t this illegal now?

But there would be more of an uproar I think.
