A few years off would probably be a good idea. I can't see this being the end.

Excited for the reboot on Quest, starring ten mis-shapen Love Island factory rejects and social media influencers living in a HMO.

GIven that we're now living in an actual Orwellian dystopia, there's no real need to have one on the telly.

    NEXT.

Oh NO. What more did channel 5 want from it if it was the most watched programme of the year on their channel for the past 7 years?

I am going to miss it, TERRIBLY.

Are they keeping CBB, given it’s been the highest rated show of the year?

    Surely that is IT now.

If ITV didn’t what it last time, they’re surely not going to want it now (for ITV2) which leaves who?

It would have to be a channel that is on Freeview in order to get the social media and voting numbers. That doesn’t leave MANY options.

There was talk of streaming services being interested. In theory, one of those that wanted to make a splash and had a fuckload of money could try it, reinstating the live stream.

    NOT ESPECIALLY LIKELY I REALISE

I suspect they wanted to keep CBB and Endemol said it was all or nothing, and have gone into negotiations with other platforms

It could definitely do with a couple of years off. When it returns, I’d prefer it to be back to basics - normal nominations, memorable tasks with actual stakes, and a cast of genuinely interesting people who aren’t all under 21. Basically, remake the first series.

Normally I’m not a fan of “celebrity” reality TV shows but I think CBB is INFINITELY more interesting than the civilian one.

I think they’d be better off looking at how they can string that out for longer and make it a bit CLEVERER than trying to push the normal series.

How long is the new series on for? I’ve heard rumours of 14 weeks. That would take us up to the middle of December?

Didn't we know this ages ago?

I wonder if anyone will invest.

    Surely not?

I imagine they haven't even committed yet.

Aw I love Emma Willis. I think I actually have watched all 18 series.

Oh well. Hopefully it will be a year or so off and they do manage to find another home.

Yes Emma Willis is wonderful, especially when you think we had Brian Dowling for a while there and Davina wasn't all that by the end; I think I would find her quite unbearable presenting Big Brother now.

I wasn't sure if I was going to bother with this civilian series, but seeing as its the last I am going to give it a go

I really thought that C5 would just stick with CBB and get rid of the civilian after this.

C4 to buy it back and put Davina AND Emma at the helm...Is it coincidence that Davina, for the first time she quit, has said she would consider doing it again, if it was in partnership with Emma? Not gonna happen but STILL

Sky and Channel 4 have declined to pick it up. I guess it's down to ITV2 now, otherwise, who could really AFFORD IT?

I can't see ITV2 buying it, I mean, they don't need it do they? Why would they buy a show that gets three times less the viewers than Love Island? Even the Xtra Factor got more viewers than BB and they axed that.

Well ITV2 have made a big success out of Love Island, Who’s to say they dont have any ideas about rebooting BB?

It’s not like there’s only room for one reality show
