Bleachers & Bruce Springsteen - chinatown

    Bleachers (Jack Antonoff's band) is pretty hit and miss, but this new one with Bruce Springsteen is so great and instant. It is somehow both anthemic and intimate. It kind of reminds me of The Killers.

    I like that about it. Especially the "Welcome to New Jersey, now go home" t-shirt

    Quite good.

    I'm assuming the scenes with his arms around a woman were put in there to lessen the intergenerational-gay-road-trip vibes of the video.

    I have NOT, I'll have to try it out. Last Killers album I've tried was probably Day & Age:shock:

    You really should. I think its their best since Sam's Town, and very similar to this one production and melody wise.

    This is wonderful. I like a bit of Bleachers and love ol Bruce. He works well on this as he can carry off the impassioned parts a bit better than Jack. Looks like he just woke up sat there miming on that car though.
