Her official website posted this image saying new music was coming this Summer:

She's also just shared a cover of Coldplay's "Magic" and I actually prefer it to the original, I think. That middle eight and final chorus is gorgeous.

That is a LOVELY cover, though I've never heard the original before so I can't compare it. (Don't judge me - Coldplay are neither female nor Swedish)

I just had a moment to "Full Moon" (remix), between that and "Right Here", "Wildest Dreams" etc I guess I prefer her pop-aimed releases. Though I do love Aphrodisiac, the album.

"Put It Down" was actually a somewhat return to commercial form for her courtesy of Chris Brown (:|). It was her biggest hit in the R&B format and urban radio, by far, since 2002.

One of my favourites from her is "Come A Lil Closer" - can't remember what album it's from but it has a KILLER keychange.

She's featured on this (as well as Azealia Banks' album but that's just a sample I think)

Is that a B or just the outline of her skid-mark from that fateful day?

It's the middle right into the key change that gets me every time. It really should have been a single.

  17. I agree with both of you.. Come A Lil Closeris really nice..
I also like No Such Thing As Too Late in her album 'Two Eleven'!
Hope she could have more songs this year...

I hope she ad libs a few wooo-wooo's a la Right Here (Departed), which I'm currently living for.

The fire's got you down on both knees...

The way she comes in with that line gets me into a song I'm already into in such a profound way.

The vox are amazing but I don't really get the release strategy. Is it a self funded thing?

That's the first time I've listened to it. Mostly because Brandy "regrammed" videos of Sam Smith and JESSIE FUCKING J banging on about how amazing it was and it really put me off.

    Erm....it's a great b-side? Maybe. That's how I feel.
