The pro-Brexit demographic is a little on the thick as fuck side, so we could probably get away with this. They think we're leaving tomorrow, when in fact all we've done is put our coats on and made ovations about making tracks.

The government also wants the media to stop using the word 'Brexit' from now on, to fool the public into thinking it's 'done'. Anyone who isn't thick as fuck realises 'get Brexit done' was a lie, spouted by a notorious liar who they voted for in the hope that this was the one thing he wasn't lying about.

The Royal Mint website has gone down with everyone trying to buy their commemorative 50 pence pieces.

    Same.

Glasgow is a weird place to be right now. A strong Remain vote, lowest number of votes for The Brexit Party in the European elections in the UK but a city with a violent, right-wing unionist culture, embedded in the historic divisions usually played out by its 2 biggest football teams.

To think that those cunts lost every vote in Scotland but still won infuriates me. IndyRef 2, here we, here we, here we fucking go.

I assume Your Nic will be dropping an announcement today. Won't she be stopped by London from holding it?

I've just ordered an EU passport holder to put over the BLUE HORROR that is going to be forced upon me and is going to make me sad every fucking time I look at it.

It won't be today. The speculation is that the SNP are going for an overall majority in the Scottish Parliament next year. If they get it, they're going to sell it as an endorsement of independence and hold it regardless of what Westminister says. But who knows, really?

I think we just point out that we have the UK's oil, a lot more wind energy that they could ever muster in the highlands alone and, of course, their nuclear missiles. Your fucking move BOJO.

I honestly didn’t think today would happen. Brussels being lit with the Union Jack last night choked me up, and reminded me how shit we are by comparison to literally every other country.

On a Brexit, freedom of movement related note, I some digging I found out that my Kennitala(Icelandic ID number) is permanent, and that essentially I´m free to come and go as I please as long as I tell them if I´m going away for an extended time i.e. 6 months for tax purposes (If you´ve seen my posts in the community thread you´ll get why this would be an issue for me). The only time I have to STAY PUT for the entire year is if I decide to apply for citizenship/passport(on that year), which I would be eligible for in 2026(and Iceland whilst not EU, IS part of Schengen and falls under Freedom of Movement like Norway, so the answer to that question if I´m still here then would be JÁ, TAKK! :disco:)

It all just feels so UNEARNED. 53% of the country voted for a second referendum a month ago, 40 out of 73 MEPs were voted in on pro-remain platforms.
The country has distanced itself from Brexit more and more as time’s gone on, it’s beyond sense that we’re at a point where it’s actually happening and most people don’t even fucking want it.

That there's freedom of movement beyond the EU and we're leaving the whole thing is so traumatic.

Just cut us free and let us float off into the South Atlantic.

Our failed Tory candidate for the last election is encouraging everyone to come on a “Brexit celebration pub crawl” starting in the local Wetherspoons.

    That’s going to end well...

A historic Bristol pub has cancelled a Brexit party that was due to take place in its function room on Friday.

Staff at the Royal Navy Volunteer on King Street said that they were unaware of the theme of the party when it was booked, and when they found out they cancelled the booking.

Friday is ‘Brexit Day’, when the UK leaves the EU, ending 47 years of the union.

A Royal Navy Volunteer statement said: “As everyone knows, the country has been massively split over this very divisive issue. Here at the pub we encompass a broad range of views and encourage discussion, as all good pubs should.

“But we are well aware that January 31 is going to be a day of celebration for some, and a day of deep sorrow for others, and we as such, we have no interest in taking one side over another and therefore have cancelled the booking.

“We are, and remain, a pub open to all.”

Bristol24/7 understands that Friday’s party at the Royal Navy Volunteer was organised by the University of Bristol’s Conservative Association, in conjunction with the Leavers of Britain’s Bristol branch.

I'm a peaceful, tolerant person - and I'll stab the first cunt who says otherwise - but would the world really have been worse off if every person in Parliament Square tonight dropped dead?

They all look like RIGHT CUNTS and worse, RIGHT CUNTS have won. We’re fucked. Give it a month and there’ll be NO POLES OR ASIANS signs outside pubs

I remember seeing that sorry (and laughably minimal) lot of scabby down and outs (AKA leave voters) trundling down Charing Cross Road in the middle of last year bleating on about BREXIT NOW! with a few sad flags and thinking, dream on slags. How wrong I was

I think it's inevitable now that we'll see the break up of the UK as a result of this. Support for Scottish independence will surely grow - even I'd consider voting for it if means we can rejoin the EU.

I'm quite :( at the sight of the Missing EU Already vigil outside the Scottish Parliament tonight.
