Might even sneak a low top 10?
It's just so CAT-CHEH
LIKE BEES 2 DA HON-EH
I can't seem to shake it from my head, and the fact that in my head it then morphs into Tori Amos's Putting The Damage On.
#10 now so already on the way down. Sold 9.6k by end of Monday, so doubt it'll stay top 10 - she'll be lucky to scan double that by the weeks end (Work Bitch did 24k then only 37k by the end of the week).
So I'd guess around 16-17k and maybe #17-ish.
Still, a top 20 is a top 20.
This has exploded on the music channels over the last week, it's literally on all the channels all the time. Thought it would come and go after the hugely negative reaction but seems to be reaching its peak release week in the UK
Well, it's certainly making a strong first impression at #16.
I have gone from totally unexcited to LOVING this. The tide turned when I saw the Ama's.
How do we feel about this now?
I can't even.
Hated it at the time, hate it now. Actually, it didn't happen. So how about that "Ooh La La"?
I think it was BAD TIMING on Britney's part to team up with igloo Australia just as she became enemy number one.
I think a Nicki Minaj feature would have mitigated its shambolic but some things aren't worth saving- it's a shit song period.
I can't believe this has NINE writers, there's not even a sample in it.
But I suppose that kind of thing happens when you keep adding people in hopes to make it halfway decent before giving up and praying Iggy was big enough to carry it anyway.
Little Mix was part of those 9 people apparently theiy received a vanity credit because they were "present" in the room whilst this was written
Shit all the way through. I'm glad it never happened.
Well that explains a lot!
Not even in a remixed to death form in the greatest party of summer of '15 did this sound good.
I haven't bother with the remixes. I might.
Actually, I won't.
Ooh La La remains this decade's hidden Ray of Light, make NO mistake!
TAKE MY HAND, we can go all NIGHT!
And SPIN ME ROUN', just the WAY AH LIKE!
It FEELS SO GOOD, I don't wanna STOP!
So baby come with me and be my OOH LAH LAH!
Ooh La La is possibly even worse
I actually can enjoy Ooh La La for what it is more than Pretty Girls.
To think I had quite high hopes for this!
"Ooh La La" is a Summer anthem. (btw, I can't believe it's already three years old at this point )
Those opening and closing synths are ABBA-esque magic
She's also been to the dancing studio and "recording" a few times in the last weeks, which probably means they're readying an album for late 2015 or early 2016. I imagine they will release another couple lead singles, and change direction a bit, hopefully, from "Pretty Girls"
I wouldn't mind a Diplo, Max Martin collab, she needs something simultaneously aggressive yet classic Britney pop.
Why can't her handlers think outside the box for a bit and getMajor Lazer or Diplo on board so she can release something a tad interesting
Madonna would probably cut Diplo's balls off
yeah Bitch I'm Britney doesn't sound like a hit at all
lol WHAT IS THIS

I'ts actually better than the original version.
Posted in the wrong thread.
p.s. fuck Pretty Girls.
This just came on one of my daily mixes on Spotify. I think I’d wiped it from memory.
It’s so bad, what were they thinking?
Definitely her worst single for me.
Definitely her worst.
"Perfume" and this, what a one two punch
I still really like it. But talk about nail in coffin .Both careers .
It always baffled me that that Little Mix were about to release this song but ended going to Britney (thank GOD) and that they actually had a writing credit; I remember reading some interview and they said something along the lines of "Oh we didn't write anything at all but we just happened to be sitting down in the same table as the writers and hence we earned a credit".
Well if TWEETS pass as writing credits these days, I don't see why SITTING shouldn't.
"Pretty Girls" turns FIVE YEARS OLD today and Iggy Azeilia uses it as an opportunity to blame Britney's team for it being a flop (and then deletes the tweet minutes later)
In case anyone was curious this is my LEAST FAVORITE BRITNEY SINGLE EVER.
We been knew.
At least 2015 gave us "Tom's Diner" which remains in my Britney Top 60.
