The "leaked" credits seem to indicate it samples LA BOUCHE, probably "Be My Lover"

La-di-da-da-di-da.... DO YOU WANNA COME OVER? :disco:

On an unrelated note: did we hear her in that radio interview last week proclaiming that the "it's Britney bitch" line originated from will.i.am while recording "Scream and Shout"?? :D

She really doesn't remember anything that happened before 2008 anymore does she

That prompted me to rediscover the old article where she claimed she "couldn't remember a thing" about her 1999 VMA perf, immediately after describing it in precise detail.

I mean to be fair she could have watched the performance since, been reminded of the details, but not recalled the particular event 15-20 years ago.

Is she planning on re-releasing Glory as a DUETS album? It could be her CHEEK2CHEEK to be honest and by GOD she needs one right one.

When is the Christina remix out? I'm expecting her to save Glorious just like she did three years ago when she saved ARTPOP.

Save Glorious? Babe, she could barely save her own career...

I'm hardly excited about this. It's just going to be a bunch of screaming added to a flawless track.

It's confirmed by Britney not to be true :(

(unless her label is currently manufacturing Brit's vox and just haven't told her the plan yet)

Also: the "Slumber Party" remix EP is out. Nothing really to write home about, but the Bad Royale and Bimbo Jones Mixes are decent

Is this whole 'just 2 singles' shit becoming an actual thing for this LAZY BITCH?

If I'm Dancing could've saved this album, but NOOOO she had to go and release Slumber Party.

"If I'm Dancing" with a fun non-sense viral video would've gone a long way (as in #23 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart)

in other news "Slumber Party" hit #1 on the all-important Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart :disco:

If we were talking high budget videos, etc. then I'd agree but given it's pretty much just the fans keeping her going now, it seems a shame not to give them SOMETHING other than two similar sounding singles, given what's left on the album.

Perhaps the label was stung by 'Criminal', which was definitely a fan-led release that stalled what could have been another top 20 hit given how receptive radio was to her at that point. Still, anything must be better than nothing at all.

There is so much wrong with this post it hurts.

"Criminal", which is great, was never going to be a big radio hit. It just wasn't the style people wanted or expected from her. They were idiots to listen to what the fans wanted in that instance. "Do You Wanna Come Over", on the other hand, is the most commercial thing on the album and the most likely to score a hit. It's been wasted.

Is it just the fans keeping her going? I wouldn't say so. She's bombed with the last two albums primarily because of how they've been handled ("Work Bitch" was massively divisive for one, but extremely difficult for radio to play secondly, which led to radio deserting her and "Make Me" just WASN'T a lead single, full stop, and then they followed it up with something fucking identical thematically) but also because the promotion has been piss poor, the material (at least on "Britney Jean) has been either rubbish or really uncommercial.

I don't see why she should give the fans "something". What they should have done is worked out the strategy from the start far better and not been so blinkered about the whole damned thing. If I was her, I'd be, at this stage, moving onto finding an absolute corker of a comeback single and a decent album to hang it off of. Not wasting time fannying about doing videos for songs that aren't going to come close to charting or promote their parent album...

At the moment I would say it's certainly the fans keeping her going in terms of album sales - I don't disagree that's in part due to the single choices (although I think 'Work Bitch' was pretty much the only thing they had on the album), but I suppose perhaps they're in a bind in how much effort is Britney herself going to put into an album campaign? You could absolutely plot 3-4 solid singles from 'Glory' but she's clearly not going to throw herself around the promo circuit. Indeed, it almost seems now like the label just has to go along with what SHE wants in terms of 'Make Me', etc. which does leave her in a place where she's shunning a wider market and relying on the fans.

The gym I go to which has gigantic ass screens displaying music videos constantly plays the ICONIC Slumber Party video (whilst I die), so if you think Britney Jean just caters to the older generation of queens, well then you're WRONG. #Justice4ManOnTheMoon

To be honest. I may have no clue about what works these days and what doesn't but to me all songs on Glory sound like hits.

    Come on guys.

She hasn't been invested in her career beyond recording songs since Everytime. 13 years. This has not and will not change. The idea that she will properly promote and plug any kind of project is not on the cards. Combined with her age and being what is now seen as a heritage act, she is simply here for the fans now and that's how it will be from now on. There's no point in doing 3-4 singles.
