I actually 8/10 love this now.

And if it's #3 on iTunes right now, that bodes well for after the VMA performance tomorrow

It seems to be a problem with Google Chrome, Safari seems to work fine - or is it just ME?

I'm using Chrome and it's fine, it's Safari that actually poses a problem. So WHO knows.

"Make Me"/"Me Myself & I" (G-Eazy song, not a Beyonce cover :() at the MTV VMAs:

Up to #2 on US iTunes again

The variation of her armography is staggering. He's better looking than I thought, but looked so awkward at the end. Nice heels though.

It's so strange seeing a popstar miming to the recorded vocal these days. I LOVE IT.

The performance was okay but coming right after the Beyoncé concert just made it dreadful.

I just assumed it was something off the new album. I'm glad it's not.

Her trashy Janetesque dance moves do not match the tempo and the sultriness of the song AT ALL.

That actually isn't an awful performance.

Has done wonders for the song - top ten in NZ, Canada, #2 in US, top 20 in Australia etc.

Streaming will stop it peaking high but it should have a good week chart-wise.

what an awkward performance on all levels. i did enjoy the esc-adjacent hand shadows.

hate her looks. that blacl dress makes her look shortlegged and the yellow thing like a wwf contenstant. though she is pretty much that these days.

btw i like make me ooh. i wish a better performer had it.

Not loving her top lip in this perf. Other than that it was really quite good.

Well it's certainly had somewhat of a revival, even if short lived.

#39 on UK iTunes and #93 on spotify (highest it has been).
#2 still on US iTunes and #22 on spotify (highest it has been as well).
#4 in NZ, #6 in Canada and #19 in Australia.

She is expected to be back in the Billboard Top 20 next week which is quite the surge, given it peaked at #17 and hasn't been anywhere near the top 20 since it's debut week.

It was a day 1 ten for me, but I've yet to go near the album (which has been getting rave reviews on my Twitter feed, which is good enough for me).

Repeaks at #17 on the Hot 100 this week. 17-52-67-43-51-58-17 I believe. Should remain around top 30 next week as well. Not bad at all really, shows what a bit of promo can do for her - shame Work Bitch never got that.

Slightly disappointed it didn't get a new peak, but I guess it doesn't matter. Sales just don't have the same impact on the Hot 100 that they used to. Hopefully "Do You Wanna Come Over?" out-peaks it *delusional* :disco:
