This is marvellous and comfortably better than anything on the solid debut album. The video is not exactly convincing though.

loving the new one as well though i'm utterly confused and can't make out if she's the main character in the video?

Oh I'm liking that. Free was good, but this is a lot stronger

    I don't always play nice

They supported Tove Lo in Berlin this week. QUITE GOOD.

I'm loving "Couldn't Believe". Gorgeous silky dance-pop banger.

loving the title too, although it (and the label change - they're on Neon with Marina now) seems to reference the fact that they felt pushed into doing mainstream pop on Conscious. I'd be sad if they didn't like that album because it really is tremendous

I know this was out earlier this year, but what an absolutely marvellous pop song:

There's also a really nice remix of it from the fabulous Japanese Wallpaper

In general though this album was an awful disappointment

I gave it one play and even that felt too long. They’ve never quite fulfilled their promise and I feel the moment has passed now.

Still, happy to follow Caleb’s future career closely nonetheless :horny:

A big YES from me too.

I don't think I've ever actually listened to these guys though, which I really should given they are probably the only band I can think of to ever come out of the South Island that have had some success. May have to queue up a weekend playlist.

I wouldn't bother with anything other than Conscious and even that is patchy. "Heartlines" is the crowning glory.

There's something naff about being siblings in a band to be honest. They always remind me of (obviously amazing but image challenged) Same Difference.

Oh no the first album has a couple of WONDERFUL songs that are right up there with the best of Conscious - Mother & Father (not the Madonna oldie but goodie) and Superstar are both divine.
