It's getting on, to be fair. Unless you were planning to watch the RUMBLE, I'd say it's bedtime.

I'm wearing pyjama bottoms I bought from Sainsbury's.

And dear old QUEENIE obviously goes to bed in the nip. Phillip's a randy old bugger so he'll probably want a quick poke around before lights out.

I am, particularly Lakeview Terrace, although Hard Candy and Insidious are sporting runners up.

I was listening to Len's evergreen classic 'Steal My Sunshine' while I was signing up and one of the lines in it is 'Does he like buttertarts'?

    I thought, 'that'll do'. It's a real rollercoaster of a tale.

Rank the following films from best to least best: The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Titanic, The Godfather, Mulholland Drive, Thelma And Louise. You may leave out any you haven't seen

Suomi obviously thinks this is MUMSNET rather than our much-loved ZAUBERHAUS of insomniacs, depressives, autistics and hysterics :disco:

    1. Titanic, but only after the ship starts to sink, and before Rose is rescued.
    2. Mulholland Drive. I didn't really understand it but watching it made me feel smug.
    3. Rocky Horror, although I've only ever seen it once and fell asleep before the end.
    4. Thelma and Louise, although again, I've not seen all of it.
    5. The Godfather. Very dull, and I can't get on board with the characters since I think if you're involved in organised crime, you get what you deserve.

In fairness, I would have been asleep by now if I didn't need something to keep me occupied until the wrestling comes on. Although I'm OVERWHELMED by the response from the insomniac crowd so far.

Smarties and Fruit Pastilles, yes. Jelly Babies have faces so I feel quite bad about torturing them before I eat them.

Ooh, it's like a really SHIT pick and mix. Number two, and I've often thought number three although those QUACKS refuse to acknowledge it.

But I liked all the others. I've nothing against Madonna, it's just her music and personality that I'm not keen on.

    EDIT: And appearance.

    :horny: Same.

Do you believe in life after love? Was Cher just purveying a hideous series of false post-relationship dreams?

I honestly think Mel B. I know her music career went up the shitter, but she just seems like she's had so much more FUN than the rest of them.

Mind you, Menly got to duet with Matt Cardle, so...

While we're on Cher, rock Cher (1987-1996) or dance Cher (1998-present)?

If you had the power to grant Dannii Minogue a #1 hit single and album (real charts, not UK Club breakers), but the trade off was that Kylie could never record again, what would you do?

But they LIKE being put in colour order! If they're (par exemple) red and they're sat next to a red one, then they know they're next for the chop, so you save them the pain of random slayings :disco:

Yay! Here's to only ever noticing the 'mind your head' signs after you've shattered your skull on a low door frame :)

And in answer to your question, I really don't think I'm strong enough. I think there's a vein of pessimism in those lyrics. Cher is a fractured soul in need of mending. Or at least she was in 1998.

    TAKE MY DAUGHTER.

I'd keep Kylie around. Dannii wears those UK Dance Charts number ones like a leper's bell. Who am I to say she's not happy as she is?
