It's probably new thread worthy, @Ag.

Not sure if splitting it from the original rumour post may butcher the thread a little too much, or just from the confirmation.

She should have announced this on Saturday; there'd have been so many dead gays, it would have solved the overcrowding at Pride Glasgow...

I am likely to die by the end of the year what with all this ABBA.

I hope she doesn't just stick with the party hits and gets in some more bittersweet late ABBA like When All is Said and Done :disco:

The cover of Super Trouper on the Mamma Mia 2 OST really annoys me when her voice essentially drops out at the chorus. Hopefully she'll be giving it the full bellow treatment on her own album. :disco:

This is basically the gay year zero. Nothing mattered before this.

Dinosaurs, Ancient empires, black death, WW2, 9/11... will basically be quiet echoy beeps in the timeline of humanity compared to this.

I want their most melancholy songs dipped into a vocoder and elevated to a future millennium.

    Obviously we ALL want that.

I'm just a bit worried some of it may be SOFT ROCK.

Where the (butch) Queen of Hi NRG leads.....Though to be fair I did quite enjoy Haze's Matt Pop produced ABBA opus from last year.

Once was a time when an ABBA cover/ samples was a fairly rare thing. Now I wouldn't know where to start a half way to comprehensive list. Probably with Bananarama's Waterloo.

    MOMMA :D

Slightly disappointed she's stayed so mainstream. I'd have liked a few album cuts.

The mystery song has to be Fernando? Would they risk leaving it off since it will be the bridge song?

I hadn't even realised that. Yes, seems daft not to.

Ten tracks seems a bit brief for this sort of album as well. Let's hope there's a DELUXE :disco:

Aside from Fernando (assuming it's on there), it's all shared leads and five Agnetha leads, which I find interesting.

If she is sticking to the hits I would have liked to hear her boom through Voulez Vous. At least she seems to have left Thank You For The Music and I Have A Dream alone.

Looking forward to hearing Cher declare she is a bashful child, beginning to grow. :disco:

To be honest, I was sort of expecting her to focus on the big hits. Besides if this is successful maybe we’ll get a Cher does More Abba :disco:

I wonder if the ?! track will be a new one?

I really hope she does have a few more for the deluxe edition. That track listing borders on karaoke hell...

I'd have thought KMKY would have been a fairly easy one for her to give a kind of soft rock vibe. So hopefully she isn't going down that route.

There’s a RUMOUR that track 10 will feature Agnetha and Frida.

If I wanted such a predictable track list I'd just stick on the immaculate ABBA Gold.

If she’d covered Thank ABBA For The Music, she could’ve done the big hitters and freed up another few tracks for something a little less predictable.

The prospect of this being a single and Cher dancing solo on the club floor again is almost too much to handle. Strong Enough produced by Clean Bandit would be astonishing.
