Absolute highlight of the night for me was I Found Someone. When she walked out in her leather jacket it was like she came out of a time machine.

    What a woman.

The fact that she had basically a different outfit and WIG for each song. :disco:

Can't lie, I was initially a bit nervous when she did two songs in the first 40 minutes of the show, interspersed with long video medleys and that bizarre rambling anecdote about her 40th birthday. :D

But OMG it was worth it once it got going. What a setlist! Gypsies was a pretty devastating loss, and I'd long made my peace with the fact that she wouldn't be wheeling out One By One, but I can't believe she did All Or Nothing! Woman's World! and Welcome To Burlesque!

The 80s hair metal section was definitely the highlight in terms of sheer crowd frenzy. The ABBA medley sent me to gay heaven, her Sonny duets were nicely done.

I'm not sure anybody was crying out to hear CHANCES ARE to be honest, especially at the expense of any seventies material, but it gave me an obvious loo break moment so I can't complain too much.

Anyway amazing night. What a woman!

Also, does she say 'What is your Granny doing this evening?' every night or was it a one off?

Gutted to have missed this. I am hoping there's the chance of another tour seeing as she seems more on form than in years,

She said the Granny line in Glasgow. It’s all the other ramblings about her 40th birthday that I’m surprised are something she says every night. What a pro for making it seem like the first time she told that story.

I'm just amazed nobody told her to tighten it up a bit. :D

I can only assume she tells it to fill time while they set up the DISCO ELEPHANT, but I really wish they'd used the space to just belt out Gypsies.

You're kidding, do you think there is some airbrushing involved?
