Don't worry guys, it may be a terrible song but its mammoth success will give Kylie lots of coin for future albums and sparkly dresses. :disco:

I'm sure Kylie will be able to buy a Crunchie with her royalties. Maybe even a Bounty.

Not sure her royalties’ll even stretch to a finger of Fudge*. Maybe she can treat herself to a tea bag :(

*Mind you, they’re probably a POUND these days

Getting nippy though. She’d be minded to get herself a Goblin :disco:

She's still a big enough name in the UK. But she's a shit chat show guest.

And she's co-presenting a new dance show on BBC in the new year.

Did someone pay Graham Norton to introduce her as a Pop Queen?

Her torso looked very long in that outfit. Did Michael B Jordan really say “it doesn’t seem that long” when she said she’d been away for 4 years? :D

I thought she gave another good performance on Graham Norton

She didn’t say very much when she got to the couch but the music guests often feel a bit like an after thought

Too ashamed. Also, I expect she was busy thinking about her fake baby :(

How OR WHY did this peak at #2 in Scotland? I blame that awful @COB, and Nurse With Wound my cock, I bet @octophone bought herself a substantial stash to HELP SALES

WE KNOW YOUR DIRTY LITTLE SECRET :tongueout:

Some of its quirks have been quite fun over the years - Runrig on TOTP due to being no. 1 in Scotland and coming in nationally in the mid 20's. For years, Gallup used to downweight records that sold too strongly in one area to avoid cheating which took out a few of the most potentially irritating quirks.

If I had any influence at all the media would be talking about how overrepresented PC music is in the Scottish taste

Madison was so vehemently anti-Scottish that he would remove Scottish chart positions from people's Wikipedia pages.

It's a shame our SOPH seems to be out of action for the minute. Maybe she could help Cheryl out with a remix that made her sound like a helium-addicted chipmunk and stripped out the entire musical content of the original, replacing it with some unicorn-level space magic.

:disco: Something along these lines - AKA basically producing an entirely new track :tongueout: - would go down very nicely. Actually this one does contain XEONESQUE clanks

Oh, I remember buying that 12". I was a full Aphex fan by this time but I was still pretty thrilled not only by the "mix" but by the fact that The Et had the backbone to put it out. Yes, something like that could potentially salvage Cheryl's career.

I'm not anti-Scottish, so I'd leave the chart positions in. I'd just add the equally relevant NMTop50 position as well.

I don’t think I’d encountered Aphex before buying the CD single at Woolworths - far too busy with Snap! obviously :disco: - so I did wonder where the tune was. Honestly, so old-fashioned
