I think not, unless it’s some sort of deliberate besmirching of our sacred capitalisation traditions in which case it’s almost certainly @Sharla :tongueout:

The capitalisation sounds like you’re being tickled and trying to make out you’re fine. Or a practicing unicyclist who isn’t quite balanced yet

If @heehaw is Scottish, as suggested elsewhere, the capitalisation gives the aura of that clipped tone that Frankie Boyle points out usually belongs to a psychopath.

And ditched by L’Oréal because she’s too common. It’s all very sad :(

Whatever your opinion on Cheryl, this headline is really unnecessary.

Also - is that really the biggest story of the day? Even for The Sun that seems frivolous.

9 years is a long time for a relationship in that industry. But Dan Wootton is one of the world's biggest cunts and The Sun a shit rag for Brexiters so that's how they roll.

I don't really LIKE her, but that's a nasty headline. Is this just a plot to get everyone to like her? I've watched House Of Cards, I know where this is going.

How many other celebrities (particularly FADDY ones like Cheryl) have held onto a contract for NINE YEARS?

In terms of makeup spokespeople, I can only think of Andie Macdowell.

Dan Wootton fucking hates her. She must have refused him one of his "exclusives".

And that L'Oréal endorsement lasted nine years which is more or less unheard of and she still does the occasional thing for them despite it being over so it's a big old nothing story wrapped up in gross misogynistic hyperbole. I feel bad for her, tearing people down in the press is a very nasty, very British thing to take such pleasure in.

It IS a very British thing but I have to be honest, I don’t really understand why now.

Her comeback is almost certainly doomed to flop based on the performance of this single and it was always LIKELY to be a struggle for her.

There have been much more logical points in her career to stick the knife in when she was still a marginally relevant chart force.

Now it’s at the point where few people care anyway - she’s already pretty much a spent force by her former standards, so whatever axe the tabloids have to grind with her, they could just leave her be and let the disinterested public do what they’re already doing without provocation.

There really seems to be a major will to see her fail in the press this time around. Obviously the weak comeback single hasn't helped much, but it's quite unsettling how vehement it seems to be.

It’ll all be to try and force a “coming out” exclusive out of her.

I know she is failing now but I do find it quite laughable that people are now thriving on her downfall.

Yeah Cheryl you have earned at least 10 mill. What a SHAME. :DAF:

Good on her. Came from nothing and worth more than any of us will probably ever be.

I said earlier in this thread that she doesnt have a niche anymore. She's lost the young chavs because she isnt the cheated on princess anymore. They cant relate to her. And if her music is flopping that she's not even remotely cool. Let's be honest, her record sales were based on hype more than content. It's not like there's many hardcore fans out there who love her music. Half the people who bought the last album probably didnt even hear Love Made Me Do It.

However with Nadine and Cheryl's solo careers failing, it just means that a GA reunion is gets closer to happening and that's something we can all get on board with. The beef between Nadine and Chezza will soon disappear when they both realise GA reforming is the only way either will make money or more importantly, be famous. It was interesting to me that Miranda Cooper co-wrote LMMDI.

I don’t wholly agree with the above.

3 Words (the album) did crossover beyond her typical fan base because of the quality of the music. Sure, it helped she was one of the biggest stars in the UK at the time and there was a significant hype around her but that wouldn’t have translated in to it selling the way it did if the songs weren’t there to back it up (see Messy Little Raindrops)

Indeed. Since her first album, it's felt like they've been playing to the lowest common denominator rather than looking for quality music.

Ummm, no. I would be genuinely amazed if we had a reunion of all 5 within the next 3 years. They've done it once, it was clearly NOT FUN, they will not be running to do it again any time soon.

Oh I bet you they will. Money talks. The other four can't be ROLLING IN IT nowadays, surely? Cheryl is the only one likely with loads of cash and, let's face it, she appears to want the fame just as much...

Depends what they did with their cash from the last tour...I guess if you SPUNKED it on a failed solo career, you might be keen...

For the sake of pop music, let's hope Cheryl's new TV show is a big flop.

I've no doubt it will happen, it's just a question of when.

She also had her run of critically acclaimed sell-out live shows at an exclusive boutique venue in London’s glamorous West End which must have generated quite a pretty penny :disco:

I’m not going to start worrying about how they pay their rent like I used to do with Hazell Dean but what DO the likes of sour old Dainty Doll do for cash with (presumably) no current income being generated and her lovely make up range down the toilet? Are their GA earnings invested in property and what not? Obviously Sarah is the main worry. She’s probably down to her last 50p with an emergency £5.75 in Green Shield stamps :(

The worrying thing is my mask nearly came off during Xmas festivities with friends. Cheryl was getting roasted from every angle and after much defending someone asked "why are you defending Cheryl so much?" and I blurted out "BECAUSE IVE BEEN HEAVILY INVESTED FOR 15 YEARS!!". I got lots of funny looks.

Love made me do it

Your mask NEARLY came off? What the hell is underneath in that case?
