Will be interesting to see if the streams increase too after the perf.
She fell to #191 yesterday, but presumably any benefit won't be felt until the daily chart tomorrow.
The X Factor performance is the #1 trending video on YouTube now
It IS only streams of the official video that are converted to sales for the chart though, isn't it?
Five places behind Kylie's Santa Baby
Lolly - Moopys number 1 seductress.
The worst bit of this song has got to be “whoa guhl stop”
I quite like it overall now though @Slave
Down to #45 in the midweeks.
Has The X Factor done nothing for it then?
The iTunes chart shows it has. But its chart placing last week was so sales led and front loaded that this was inevitable.
And don't the first midweek only count sales to the end of Sunday?
Quitting's OUTTA the QUESTION!
THE VOICE has returned. Is it No. 1 yet?
Just read this whole thread. Howling. What a tonic!
She dropped out of the iTunes top 10 earlier, but is now back at #9. And I noticed that Tom Walker who originally climbed higher after his X Factor performance is now below her, despite being discounted. So I think it MAY actually be gaining some proper traction, at least in terms of sales.
I see The Sun went for dreadful, painful and embarrassing for the performance, even if it's up to 877k views.
Do we have any updated figures?
I read that she's watching her perf back CONTINUOUSLY after being devastated by the reaction.
Figures for what?
How is it trending on Moopy?
Streaming figures? Updated midweeks? ANYTHING?
That last line
It was HORRIBLE
She doesn’t deserve torrents of abuse, no one deserves that. However, when you’re in the public eye, being judged is pretty much something that comes with the territory. If she’d mimed she would have got abuse too so I kinda have to take my hat off to her for at least attempting to sing the verses in tune. Even if it didn’t quite work out.
Never mind Cheryl, you’ve jumped up to #120 on Spotify so all is not lost, yet!
What did Nile Rogers have to do with it?
The camera wasn’t on him when he stood up to applaud her with the rest of the judges after the performance. He had sat back down by the time the camera went to the judges so it looked like only Simon, Louis and Ayda gave her a standing ovation.
The performance was good. Even the vocals were fine considering it was partly live and she was dancing. The only reason the press is going in so hard is because Cherly is in the necessary "descent" phase of her career post-nation's darling and now must be torn down for anything and everything.
In fairness, I think people were AS critical of the Fight For This Love performance. Yes there was more goodwill towards her, but equally she was on a much stronger commercial footing - and with a better song to boot.
Up to 100 on Spotify today for its highest position since day 1
Not one to mince her words, our Kath
not true though is it
Or exactly ON THE PULSE
Why does the British press love to build stars up just to knock them down? Against all odds they found something to champion in Cheryl, so why now are they so dedicated to ripping her to shreds?
it's a fucking Natasha Bedingfield song
Is this really funny in 2018?
That's not really funny. Or true. I expect BETTER from KATH
The toilet attendant that I knew when I used to work in a nightclub used to call himself head of merchandising
So I’m sure Cheryl was justified in whatever actions she took
She DOESNT have the TALENT to back up the HYPE she once HAD.
it's not a CHERLY perf if there's no dance routine, shoddy live vocals and a pointless dance break during the song
Fell to #47 this week.
! Oh the glorious Schadenfreude of it all!
I give it three days before she announces that the pretend baby’s died
*drops to 112*
