Thought it's time for a new thread, to talk about Anticipation-tina who confirms her new album will be out around Spring or Summer 2012, probably right in time for the second season finale of The Voice. :disco:

I'm probably getting far too excited for my own good as things have been downhill since Stripped but there was a nice little 6-track budget EP hidden in Bi~On~Ic somewhere :disco:

More stuff like Lift Me Up and You Lost Me (oh, plus Woohoo :black:) and less stuff like I Hate Boys and Elastic Love PLEASE.

Nothing like a good RESCUE ALBUM. You can kind of predict the safe, contemporary style this will adopt with some no doubt great songs but nothing out of this world. Which sounds like Bionic without the PROMISE or the FILLER. Hopefully.

    More Lift Me Ups please.

She really just needs to ditch the electro thing totally, all of the stuff of that ilk on Bionic sounded really really stale and embarrassing.

Just a straight-forward contemporary pop album with R&B influences and strong melodies would do it for me. But apparently she's incapable of doing an album now without some overbearing THEME

I think it will have a Christopher Columbus ukulele-inspired theme. Part 1 anyway. Part 2 will be a homage to the works of SHAMPOO

    I'm hoping for a KABUKI-themed effort.

Kelly Osbourne has revived the X-Tina/Kelly feud from the Stripped era, if only it was the Mariah/X-Tina feud returning instead

I wish GODTINA was still a deeper shade of orange so that she could retort with maximum CUNT AURA

I've had an epiphany by the way guys

We don't need to worry about her weight. I mean it's surely apparent that she has only gained weight so that her vox can be the best they can be whilst she records this OPUS (and make no mistake it will be a musical event unparalleled by any other of recent times - 'the newcomer' will be long forgotten once this conceptual masterpiece is unleashed, and as far as fourth albums go 4 will seem about as IMPORTANT or SUCCESSFUL as a(nother) Stop to the Top! campaign by comparison). And once the album is done and Xtina is ready to bestow upon us the new musical equivalent of the rebirth of Jesus Christ, the weight will fall off as easily as skin from a banana.

I Am and Little Dreamer are brilliant - I take my hat off to her, for being a woman, the first ever mother, vulnerable, naked, and alive enough to record them. Lift Me Up has that loud bit where she's inventing some sort of humongous emotion I don't think anyone has heard of before. All I Need was in my head all weekend, it's a song I sometimes sing in my head when bored.

Maybe Kelly took offence when TheRealXtina asked her she wanted diet coke or full fat? I wouldn't want to cast any aspersions by suggesting Kelly drinks coke though...

BUSTED (is it me or is that an APPROPRIATE title for a sequel to Stripped at this point in her career?)

I'm putting Bionic on RIGHT NOW. I need to feel an emotion nobody has EVER felt before.

How about REVULSION with a sickening sense of WASTED OPPORTUNITY?

I'm sure SEB would come to VoR's defense

(that's if there's some sort of a buffet involved cause otherwise she won't be making the effort)

I don't rescue them! A glowing endorsement from me is the pop equivalent of a LETHAL INJECTION :(

What I meant was, why is the industry still in any way excited for new Aguilera when she hasn't delivered a hit in almost a decade?

VoR has SO MUCH HOSTILITY in him of late, I find it a little disturbing

I wonder if Xtina's upcoming opus will sell more than the Alexis Jordan record? :disco:

oh now DO NOT PRETEND as if Not Myself Tonight was not a TOP 11 hit in the UK :basil:

and at the moment this "irrelevant bitch" is Top 10 on iTunes with the Maroon 5 collaboration which at this point, as much as it ilks everyone, is what she needed!

I think VoR is going a little overboard, she's hardly JANET JACKSON in terms of second, third and fourth chances. X-Tina's had one flop album, if she comes up with some good material this time around I don't see why she couldn't score another Platinum album and couple of top ten hits, especially with the new-found visibility through The Voice.

Back To Basics was hardly a SMASH, was it? Particularly in America.

Plus I'm counting that train-wreck of a "greatest hits".

Back to Basics did fine in America, sold 1.7 million to date and "Ain't No Other Man" was a quite big Summer hit, hung around the top ten for awhile. Even "Hurt" performed rather respectably despite being pretty much the only (no exaggeration here) traditional ballad to become a pop hit the past five years.

And the GH was a bit shambolic but the only thing that really DAMAGED her in the public eye was Bionic
