I think you have to thank JARQUETTE for it though. I was about to take care of it myself but he was just a little QUICKER.

I can't wait to get my iPod back from being fixed this Friday so I can be empowered by Lotus. If I disliked most of Bi~On~Ic is there a chance for me to be won back over by this?

it peaked at #14... maybe you're mixing up the single and the remix EP

Etta James' "At Last" took decades before it even charted on the UK Chart, clearly a classic TAKES ITS TIME.

I uploaded some new tracks to my iPod yesterday. Somehow this was included. I'd never actually listened to it in full due to the Max Martin connection scaring me that it might be quite good.

    It's FUCKING BLINDING :disco:

Oh god no, imagine that chorus with Brit on it. He knows what he's doing - if Aguilera was wailing over 'Amy' or 'Til The World Ends' (is that Max Martin?) it would be a disaster.

On this one though it bloody works :disco:

I didn't mean Britney should have the song, I could barely imagine.

I just mean that this is such a BIG statement track, it's really the sort of thing that Max Martin has failed to deliver Britney - although I suppose he's lavished the hits upon her instead...

To be fair though, Britney wouldn't really suit a big statement track. She can do slutty in the 'If U Seek Amy' way, but it's still very coy and suggestive, as it has been for her since day one. If she was to sing a song about fucking as brash as this I don't think it would really suit her image and go down well.

As in she seems rather nice compared to Xtina's bitch-slut persona which nails this song and video.

Christina knows EXACTLY what she's doing, Bionic shows it's not a one size fits all approach from her at all. I think a Christina Till The World Ends would be extraordinary. Granted, she wouldn't be able to sound as pathetic and dumb as Brit on the verses, but the whoah-oh-oh-oh-oh-OH-OHs would be elevated beyond comparison, as Feel This Moment proves they are something of yet another Xtina trademark specialty.

They sound fine on Feel This Moment. They would sound SHIT on TTWE. It wouldn't sound right She's a much better singer, but that doesn't mean all pop songs need to be sung in THAT fashion. Deadpan delivery is often required. Hence Holly Valance could create some fantastic pieces of pop.

Anyhoo, still loving this. That middle 8 is amazing :disco:

Well I don't disagree with you on that principle, but I just don't think she would honk her way through TTWE at all. It's not as if Aretha Franklin could sing Ooh Ahh ... Just A Little Bit, Uh La La La, Freed From Desire and other tour de force 90s moments, so maybe you're right after all :D
