Gemma's routine was the most hilariously half arsed I can remember. The SET TO with Jason certainly livened things up though and I expect that sort of thing will see her through a few weeks.

Saara was much better this week, despite that bloody song. The decision to have her sing as well was INTERESTING.

Saara's routine was lovely, I loved the way she draped over his back and the spin looked brilliant.

Also Gemma! The skating content in her routine was so much less than the first week. What has she been doing for the past two weeks other than crying about Jason Gardiner? :side-eye:

She absolutely stacked it. She’s so rubbish that it’s probably done her a favour.

Sylvain shirtless skating to Kylie as a cowboy. :disco:

Shame Leanne Battersby is a bit annoying.

Brian McFadden’s partner deserves the bloody Victoria Cross.

In SMALL DOSES his humour would be fine. But it’s just RELENTLESS and you can just tell everyone is thinking “SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU UNFUNNY TWAT” (or maybe that’s just me).

He’s obviously GAGGING for an ITV2 reality show off the back of this. How his partner has refrained from skating over his FACE is utterly beyond me.

Didn't take long for Saara to be back to her comfort zone in the bottom 2 :D

Hopefully she gets more of a pimp slot this week.

This series is so much better than it's been for years by the way, finally it feels like a competition with at least 3 people who aren't actually terrible.

    James was amazing.

    The dance-off was PAINFUL though.

Ryan’s skating was stronger but his attempts at rhythm were cringe.

I only caught up on this earlier. It must be Wes, or James to win at this point?

Yes agree, I think Wes is more likely to win with the public though but like Strictly I guess it doesn’t matter if the best dancer doesn’t win

Also, no mention of GEMMAS MELTDOWN.

I enjoyed Gemma saying me and Jason are mates now, then for him to reply “I wouldn’t go THAT FAR”. :D

Was the same not thought of Kem last year and I don’t think he made the final?

Wes does seem rather better than Kem though. Also Kem's leading competition wasn't James Jordan and a Pussycat Doll.

Kem had Jake Quickenden who like James Jordan was receiving very high marks from week 1. From memory Kem was certainly top 5 weekly in terms of marks, and it was more of a shock that Brook Vincent made it further than him as she wasn’t very good.

I think Wes is better than Kem - who improved, but peaked and plateaued. He never quite reached a point where he wasn’t still prone to wobbling and looking a bit unsteady.

Wes still does that from time to time, but his headbanger was very impressive. I thought it’d be incredibly tentative but he really went for it and I think it’ll push him further than Kem in terms of ability.

Thinking of it you are probably right. It must be n older clientele voting on this for Brook to have made top 2.

I guess for the Corrie audience, it’s an inevitable vote.

I don’t see how Brook got by on anything other than the fact that she’s on-screen 4-5 times a week.

I was a little surprised that Saira was ditched so soon, but I don’t think she’s a particularly notable member of the Loose Women panel outside of those who watch religiously.

I truly don't understand the scoring in this, Saara was amazing tonight. Double elimination means she's surely skate off bound unless they put her in first or second on the leaderboard.

That said Melody is stunning to watch and I'm quite enjoying the Wes/James rivalry. The other 3 may as well just fuck off now.

There's quite a clear top 4 now, and now that Ryan has been in the skate-off twice I'd like to think Saara would be safe for at least another week, but I didn't know about the double elimination...

I'm assuming they are doing a bottom three skate off. Hopefully two of the top four don't end up down there. One can only hope that the McFadden vote isn't too strong and Leanne Battersby isn't getting too much support based on being carried about week after week.

You may be underestimating the Corrie brigade there.

Oh well. As much as The GC brought the LOL's, it was quite clear she wasn't putting in the training hours :D
