I'm watching men's decathlon high jump. Is there nothing better on?

So, now it's a choice between decathlon high jump, wrestling or Italy v Iran in the volleyball. Fun.

There should be a poll on most offensive thing said or done at the Olympics
    - John Inverdale saying Andy Murray was the first tennis player to win two golds when he meant first singles player to defend title at Olympics
    - Chris Boardman suggesting Jason Kenny asked Laura Trott what was for tea after winning gold
    - Helen Skelton wearing a skirt
    - Jack Laugher wrapping his legs around Chris Mears after winning gold
    - An LGBT ciswomyn mocking up a photo of her riding on the back of a het cisman
    - a BBC commentator says he hoped he didn't see any gay men kissing in the stands
    - Piers Morgan saying all bronze medalists are losers and shouldn't celebrate.

Which got you clutching your pearls the hardest?

I was thinking more: favourite Olympian. For the first time in my life, I probably have a top 10.

Well if we're going down that route, don't forget the Winter Paralympics too.

I just looked ahead to later in the week.

There's a chance of taekwondo final between Lutalo Muhammad and Aaron Cook of Moldova :disco:

I love Tiffany Porter but her younger sister Cindy has been doing even better in the rounds but they are both in the final of the 100mh

Cindy is actually running better and could actually sneak a medal but I still think both sisters are running for GB as it means its easier in this event to get in the team - they are both fast bust would even struggle to be seen on the world stage if they stayed in America - apparently their mother is born in London.

He DIDN'T mean that. He meant first man, because women are irrelevant to him.

Seriously. Adam Gemili's SMILE... OMG. Smiles are not normally a deal-breaker for me, but fuck me. He's absolutely perfect.

So many of our British female athletes placing in the top 8 but not quite making the top 3... So close for Ofili there - thought she was gonna nick a medal off the Americans (though it is insanely distracting when she speaks and it really feels like an American 1-2-3-4...!!)

How the hell did Thompson take so long to realise she had won by the way? :D
