...at his home in Florida. Everyone who actually went to Rio is fine.

So, Golf's back. There's also some track cycling and, just maybe, Rowing, so that should be good for Team GB.

Apart from the swimming the time zones are working out pretty well for use aren't they. Diving and gymnastics got prime time last night and cycling gets it tonight :disco:

I don't mind golf being in the Olympics although, obviously, the people who have pulled out are selfish idiots who should be ashamed of themselves. The women golfers have pretty much all turned up and deserve our support.

Is self titled Aussie Bitch Anna Mears participating this year?

And what about Laura Trott and Jason Kenny?

    Yup!

According to some interactive BBC quiz, she's the athlete I physically resemble most.

And apparently the sports I'm most suited to are badminton, wrestling and judo.

I have no ball coordination though so I'd suck at badminton.

Piers Morgan has taken time out of his busy schedule defending Trump and has apparently written an article saying people like Max Whitlock and Sally Conway and Daniel Goodfellow are losers because they take pride in winning a bronze medal and to defend himself he's now attacking Gary Linekar's achievements because he only won a handful of cups and was the top scorer at something called The World Cup.

It's been said before, and it'll be said again but that man is the epitome of TWUNT.

Another possible silver in the canoeing.

Lesbian rugby semi final is on at 7pm. Seeing as its a game with 7 people on each team and it consists of two 7 minute halves, they should call it Rugby 7s.

The amount of empty seats to watch horses dancing is dreadful.

I'm surprised the horses are dancing to an Casio instrumental version of an obscure song from Swedish-Iranian musician Arash.

Wonderful. That's Fiji's first ever medal, isn't it?

Murray is struggling in the tennis. He was a break down in the final set, but has just broken back.

I'm excited now about the musical chairs race in the Velodrome, whenever that is. I hope they have an 80 year old on a moped like they did in London.

The Kenya athletics coach John Anzrah has been sent home from the Olympics after posing as an athlete and giving a urine sample, according to Kip Keino, chairman of the Kenyan Olympic committee. Anzrah is Kenya’s sprint coach, responsible for disciplines from 100m to 400m including hurdles. Kenya’s strength in the longer sprints has been growing of late. Seven athletes have qualified for the 400m, five of them men, and another four, three of them men, for the 400m hurdles. More details as we get them.
