Can Britain repeat their early athletics success from London? We'll find out in the early hours of tomorrow morning with the men's 10000m and long jump, plus the final events of the heptathlon. Before that, there should be more medals in Rowing and Cycling to keep us all going.

I had no idea about the Zika stuff, or the other crimes against humanity, but her comments on Sweden were very Ronaldoesque. Pleased she didn't get to win anything like that peacock.

Oddly, Hope Solo wasn't even the worst loser of yesterday's events. The Egyptian judoka who refused to shake hands with the Israeli who had just beaten him wasn't exactly in the Olympic spirit either.

What a shit-stirring, tabloidy, judgmental hack job that Slate article is. I weep for journalism.

Denise was getting visibly agitated with KJT last night and it was quite amusing to watch. She was like a school teacher :D

Paused my class to let the kids watch the men's 100m butterfly to see Schooling take gold. Lottery tickets with his Olympic record were sold out in 2 hours

Unburdened from having to share the court with a British woman, Andy Murray is through to the singles Gold Medal match.

Jess Ennis 2nd in the Heptathlon, Katerina J-T 3Rd, with Javelin and 800m to go. They're her strongest events, right?

JEH is better than KJT in the javelin and their 800s are pretty much the same, BUT the Belgian usurper's javelin is better than both JEH and KJT. No idea what her 800 is like though. Maybe they can get BTE to take her out, MDS style.

The girl in first apparently has a brilliant Javelin and a dodgy 800m. Jess has a good 800m. It's going to be very close :o

What time is the heptathlon jav/800 on? I hope this isn't going to mean another all nighter... Super Saturday won't be as good as the last time if I'm to be spending it nursing a coffee for hours trying to keep my eyes open

Jo Rowsell looks like she's just gotten off a very big horse. Some very gingerly steps there.

Now Mr Trott needs to get himself into the final too.

And Becky with the good hair needs a good too. If that Aussie Bitch Anna Mearer wins I won't be happy.

My flatmate was born in Australia and holds dual nationality. I had to tell her to fuck off out of the room last night as she was accidentally cheering on the Aussies as a sheer slip of the tongue.

Chris Hoy is doing it for me too. Those huge thighs and manly scots voice.

    Anyway, back to the sport.

I'm looking forward to the last night of the swimming too - Fran Halsall in the 50m freestyle could get a medal, and our mens medley relay is looking good for a medal too :disco:

I'm going to get into a right TIZZ with the old red button as they will be on at the same time.

The broad smile on the bald one's face during this medal ceromony is enough to melt my heart bless her. The Americans are proper pissed off with their silver :D

That's the Medley relays I was talking about. Our men qualified fastest and we have a great chance of a medal, but the Americans will swap three of their swimmers and we have the same four from the heats. I expect us to be in the lead at least after the breastroke leg and Adam Peaty though!
