Max looked harder, Louis looked cleaner.
Ooh, we're Gold and Silver now... So far.
Get in there Max!
TWO GOLD IN AN HOUR FOR WHITLOCK?!
That's going to be an awkward friendship.
Is the American crying through pride or disgust?
Second in the medal table!
Louis is having none of it.
BREXIT HAS MADE US GRATE AGAIN
Is Louis upset?
Has Louis congratulated Max? A joint photo would be nice.
Compare the reaction of those Brazilians to Louis Smith
Wow. Fuck you, China.
I don't think we are yet. Need the sprint to finish first.
EDIT: Oh, never mind. The Guardian had miscounted
Well, if you will trust something that's headed 'meddle table'.
American guy looks a bit like a Crispin Glover in Back To The Future.
Oh poor Louis.
Where's the Duchess of Kent to give Louis a hug?
It won't last anyway. China will win a shitload in ping pong and shuttlecocks.
Oh without a doubt. Throw in three or four diving medals too.
Is diving not finished? I looked at China's medals from 2012 and most were in diving, but other than that it was swimming, gymnastics and weightlifting, which they've been mostly denied those numbers this year.
The solo diving hasn't taken place yet has it? Tom Daley won his bronze quite late in 2012.
Only the synchro medals have been decided. The big four events are yet to come, although I think the women's 3m is imminent.
This has been a pretty spectacular day up to now. The look on Lewis Smith's face, though - he'll be doing a shit in Whitlock's suitcase before the night's over.
LITERALLY another gold!
Fuck yeah, Jack Sock gets a gold in tennis mixed doubles in an all USA final.
So five golds today (inc cycling)... with possibly more en route.
The sailing one doesn't count yet.
And some more to come possibly in tennis, cycling definitely and the windsurfing.
Not quite, but a guaranteed sailing one by Tuesday.
What GB gold medals opportunities are left today - is it just the Men's Sprint and the tennis?
Chijindu Ujah is in the 100m semi final, he MIGHT make the final but i doubt he will medal.
Sorry, I meant realistic opportunities.
We've just moved down to third. (For about 30 mins.)
I feel a bit silly lusting after the thighs of these cyclists and then having to google them to see what their faces are like.
Surprised there has been no mention on TV or discussion about the women's 100m final which took place last night. Elaine Thompson of Jamaica won.
Just looking at odds for future events, Nile Wilson is second favourite to win the horizontal bars on Tuesday. Epke Zonderland and Fabian Hambuechen are his main rivals.
I think we have a chance in the individual Horsey Dancing tomorrow.
