Do you really have a duduk?
MARRY ME NOW
And here was me thinking you'd be anyone's a for a balalaika....
At this point in time I'm anyone's for ANYTHING
I do. They only cost about £10 if you know which market to go to.
*googles duduk markets*
I've signed up for piano lessons and it feels fabulous. Just call me Rachmanioff.
I've been in classical voice since I was a kid too, if that counts. As singers LOVE to say, "your body is your instrument."
I play piano/keyboard, but by ear - I can't read music.
I started teaching myself guitar a year ago and it was going OK but I hit a bit of a roadblock. Should pick it up again, but it takes a while for your fingers to harden so it doesn't hurt!
I also play a little ukulele.
I’m tone deaf.
Whatever happened to Spuggie?
Haven’t touched the guitar since this post in 2010.
That is commitment to NOT playing!
One of the tuning pegs snapped off and I never got round to repairing it. Thus the guitar was put in the attic, never to be seen again.
if you are a countertenor you are quite literally a god amongst men
I would like to learn guitar but always put it off. I'd also like to learn the bodhran.
I got a bit sad this morning thinking about all the things I joined when I was younger and gave up too quickly. The boys cathedral choir and trad music were two of them.
Although one would have thought that there’d have been a fairly limited shelf life on one of those anyway.
They were introducing a senior choir when I left I think. And a new royal blue uniform.
Don't tell me you don't play the guitar @Mats !
how barbaric! no, if I were to play an instrument I would be the Paganini to your Rachmaninov
