And it has happened, Donald Trump for president. I kinda hope he wins.
I'm concerned about how this will affect future seasons of The Celebrity Apprentice
I can't believe the Donald Trump thing is even real. I honestly think the world could potentially end with him as President.
He's only really the 'front-runner' because there are so many candidates at this stage. His support's quite Ukippy - a very angry core of 'fuck everything' white people who think America isn't great and think that it needs someone rude who pisses off the system and doesn't care what anyone thinks to restore it to glory; but everyone outside of that thinks they're a load of mentalists.
The problem he has is that his 30% of support is the roof (to compare, 40% of Republicans think Islam should be illegal, so we likely aren't talking the most level-headed subsector of Republicans here given the Venn diagram of those two groups is probably merged). Once all the no-hopers have started dropping out after Iowa he'll probably get overtaken fairly quickly.
I suspect Jeb Bush will be the Republican candidate as he is the anointed one that the corporations have chosen.
Trump is doing a wonderful job of clearing the field for Bush. When the time is right a big deal will be made of Melania Trump's nude shots, Trump will bow out, and then we will be left with the horrific reality of a Bush versus Clinton contest - a rematch of 1992.
That might actually wake the US up to the fact that their political system is rotten to the core and only a sham democracy if in a country of 310,000,000 people there can only ever be 2 parties and that only 1 family can represent each party.
Donald Trump advocates banning all Muslims from America (!)
I'm kind of hoping someone just shoots him at this point. Not because he stands a chance of winning (he doesn't), but just for the pleasure of the footage.
None of the bad ones get assassinated.
Is Trump now backing out and is just saying the most Hitler-esque outlandish thing to ensure he doesn't become the Republican nominee? He seriously does sound like an evil dictator.
I don't know whether to or :daf:
It's like THE DAY TODAY
DOWN with the STUPID PEOPLE!
LET THEM DIE!!!!!
A Bernie Sanders vs Donald Trump run would be fascinating, if not a little bit terrifying.
He is now tweeting support for UK journalist Katy Hopkins.
Oh AS IF the international media are reporting her as a JOURNALIST
Of course he is
Respected is code for 'agrees with me'.
Donald Trump needs his own topic.
I really am FURIOUS about Katie Hopkins. I REALLY want to confront her, more than anyone, possibly ever.
America can fucking have her.
She's unanswerable. Just keep reminding yourself this is her job - provocative bitch. I resist tweeting about her because it's taking the bait.
The debates are going to be quite the event. If Hillary wins, Trump will have a field day with the money he gave her, her emails, and Benghazi. While a face-off with Sanders would center more around "the cancers of socialism," with Sanders having to spell out the definition of democratic socialist one thousand billion times. I watch videos of Trump and I just can't believe the reality of the position he's in. Is the U.S. really THAT brainless? Now that is frightening. It's like a third of the U.S. population is composed of the white a-bit-more-civilised version of the Mideast.
I just don't take anything she says seriously. The stupid cow is so desperate for attention she'll say anything. I bet she sits and cackles every time someone sends her a hateful tweet. Just ignore the CUNT.
She blocked me on Twitter a while back And I didn't even swear at her!
No more of a field day than the Republicans have been trying to have for the last six months/two years. Hasn't really worked for them either.
Anyway, Trump won't win the primaries. He'll probably run as an independent though.
Do tell my dear, who do YOU think will win the primaries for each party?
No question that it'll be Hillary for the Democrats.
It's difficult to tell with the Republicans, because at the moment the majority of Republican voters are still undecided/not even paying attention. The lead Trump has really just constitutes around 5-10% of voters supporting him. It's also a lead that looks more imposing than it really is given there are about ten at least mildly competitive candidates in the primaries at the moment, so the vote is split a lot of ways right now and Trump's benefiting as the most high profile and loudmouthed of the lot.
If the base has actually just gone mental I think it'll be Ted Cruz. If it hasn't I think it'll be Marco Rubio. Trump will probably win a couple of the early primaries on the basis of how split the vote will be, at which point there'll be a lot of pressure on the obviously non-competitive candidates to get out and line up behind one or two non-Trump candidates.
Which should see Clinton walk into the White House, if past experience is anything to go by.
I refuse to believe even America will elect a black man followed by a racist.
My favourite theory is that this whole campaign is literally just a backroom deal between Hillary and Donald to guarantee her the presidency.
Although that would make Hillary a TREMENDOUS CUNT for letting it get this far (but then who'd have expected anything less? )
What's deal with him paying her? I don't follow American politics this early in the primaries, but Trump you just can't ignore.
I'm applying the same method with Trump. It all seems like a big fat joke.
History has shown that when one extreme happens, it is often followed by another extreme as people retaliate. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see a black man followed by a racist for that very reason.
Obviously I hope I'm wrong!
I hadn't heard the theory about Hillary being behind Trump, but I did read a thing recently wondering if the whole Trump campaign is a ruse - with the end goal being to make Cruz (or whoever) seem like a more moderate alternative rather than just as awful
Donald is indeed a dickhead but he's got Alex Salmond spot on.
A nice article about his Scottish interests: http://blogs.new.spectator.co.uk/20...alex-salmond-its-a-shame-they-cant-both-lose/
What a bunch of creeps

I lasted 1:47. Abysmal.
Is his victory remotely likely from this standpoint? What's the polling for him vs Clinton? I'd love Hillary to win (obvs) but it's a shame her water is so muddied already, cos it's gonna make it much harder. A nice clean Obama type would be more suitable against this kind of evil.
The republican party is a complete mess. The other major contender Ted Cruz is possibly even more terrifying because he actually seems to believe what he says.
Hillary could still lose to Bernie Sanders, who seems very nice but is SEVENTY FOUR.
