coming Friday. she's going for that French/Belgian market SMASHA and I must say that j'approuve sans réserve. co-written by Julia Michaels (but let's try and keep the faith!)
slightly awkward cover art but this is co-written/produced by Ian Kirkpatrick (Don't Start Now) and I'm expecting MS. DUA to DELIVERIPA!
Angèle's parts are much better. But this is a pretty instant bop it's got nothing on the album proper obviously.
Yes it is nice enough but Dua almost feels like she has a supporting role on this one and it is not on the level of her big hitters. I see they have added to the album on Spotify. Shame they couldn't have put on the upcoming 2CD as well.
I was disappointed at first, but I have grown to actually like this a lot. And having investigated Angèle because of it, I love this:
I've listened a couple of times, but this really doesn't deserve anything more than bonus track status to me.
Despite being released specifically for France/Belgium, I think it could be fun for America. Plus the chorus is very catchy, if in a different way than something like Break Your Heart or Don't Start Now. Shows a different side to her
goes in at #2 in France (the album's highest peaking single there - Don't Start Now was #12) and #3 in Belgium #79 UK
Only just getting into this after the live show but AGOG at the tepid response, this is the aural equivalent of cum dripping out of your arse as you leave a guys place and shedding a single tear, it’s THAT SEXY.
