Whilst this isn't the worst thing I have ever heard, this does scream "that difficult 2nd album after 5 years and no-one cares any more"

    NOT ON YOUTUBE YET :manson:

Currently at #18 and #20 on iTunes, which is equivalent to about #12 overall.

It's silent so that's an improvement.

Oh. Ha ha. On Spotify for those interested. Bizarrely there doesn't appear to be a decent version on Youtube, which is really weird.

Called 'Hurts'. I find it glorious, but I like her anyway.

Is this the song she took back from MKS and ruined their comeback?

I just listened to a clip, very upbeat for a Sandé oeuvre. Also not even on the US iTunes front page.

I do like her voice. Is it too much to ask for a song that deserves it?

I love it. It's much better than the new GaGa one for sure.

I believe there are plenty of songs that deserve her voice already. And I'm sure there are many more to come, judging by this single.

I really can't stand her. I don't know what it is about her that I find so OFFENSIVE.

    29.

I have to say the large break has served her well. I quite like this song now. But I do shudder a little at the very concept of her.

This was all ready last year wasn't it - but they delayed it so that Adele was out the way

No way! I'm guessing radio 2 will be propping her up... Radio 1 could have easily jumped ship by now.

She had a special Live Lounge on Radio 1 and 1 Extra on Friday - indications that they aren't QUITE done with her yet

I just noticed this is actually in the Pop Toilet. I mean, I get it people don't really like her, but her debut album sold by the bucketload, so that's as far from a toilet flush as I can imagine.
But yeah, I get that she's not liked in here.

It's hardly breaking news how old she looks, but my goodness. Back don't crack - the charts, that is.

May Kylie STRIKE ME DOWN, but I do rather love 'Breathing Under Water'. It's the combination of the strings and Massive Attack beats I know. And I've always liked her voice, just rarely her material.

Have been meaning to post this for days. Breathing Under Water is IMMENSE. It's one of my songs of the year. It is the sort of song LEONA should be coming back with if they had any sense. It's the perfect mix of haunting melody, perfect vocals, strings, beats and choir

Although I am surprised its not blowing up after X Factor

We may be about to witness the 2nd album curse. Or may be not. Even Robbie Williams managed to get to No.1 after a very poor single release.

I'd be surprised if she doesn't get the #1. Although I have no idea what else she'd up against.

I didn't realise it had peaked outside the Top 20 :o

Streaming clobbered it though - I'm sure it was in the Top 10 on iTunes for a while. So that in itself doesn't worry me too much about the album's prospects.

Even though the two cuts from the album seem to be underperforming (Breathing under water seems to be rising slightly a week after the X Factor perf which is encouraging) I still think the album should debut at #1 and sell OK

I loved Hurts - I was embarrassed when I shazamed this song I liked on first listen on the radio, only to find it's bloody Sande. Breathing Underwater doesn't do anything for me at the moment though.

    Listening to Breathing Underwater. Dull.

One of the most disappointing artists of all time following such an amazing debut as Heaven was.

Hurts and breathing underwater are both great but I can see why they are not connecting as singles! I'll be interested to see if she can still manage to sell albums, I think it's possible she will still do ok and not 'do a duffy'

    Listen a few times.

Is this out this week the same time as Olly Murs' new album? That could be a battle
