I really like this
Me too. I was gonna post it but I didn't think anyone here liked them.
Dawn Robinson is very mad at this.
I like it too.
I'm thinking of getting tickets to see them on their tour but have completely lost track with them. Are these three part of the original line up?
This is why Moopy is allegedly dying.
She's mainly mad that the current lineup has agreed to a film based on their story and she wants a piece of the pie. Except she gave up the rights to the name years ago. She's always been known to be difficult to work with.
Lucy Pearl was amazing, and she was supposed to become a proper big solo act, but she fucked it up.
Such a shame. She's a real talent.
I thought that was more about members leaving.
Nope! Two original members are missing and one new one has been added. It’s all very DC3
funky loves them
Which doesn’t disprove your point
Yes he definitely loved them. #CumBackFunky
I think The Riddle is my favourite En Vogue song.
Did anyone bother with the album?
I got tickets to see them for £6. Vocally astonishing but other than that it was all a bit depressing. No band - just the 3 of them with a backing track, not even a backdrop with their name. I'd say the venue was a third full max. I'd have been very disappointed if I'd have paid the £32 face value.
God that sounds grim. I mean they have had some hit singles here but they never felt as big or much loved as some of the other girl bands from the US.
The album charted at #47 on the INDEPENDENT album chart, nowhere to be seen on the album chart, they really don't have a UK audience anymore.
I disagree. They paved the way for the likes of TLC for me. Although the ‘hits’ were not plentiful, they had probably the best of them.
I finally played the album today- and it's REALLY REALLY good
The queens of air-kiss soul reunited (+ Rhona) last night for a GALA performance:
But before you can say pros-ta-toot, I'm guessing Free Your Mind featured.
