If this is one of those Twitter/Facebook troll things that has taken off, it'll be hilarious. Obviously, someone did the "Remain voters, you vote today, Leave voters, you vote tomorrow" gag already but that would be priceless. But the sad thing is, it's probably tinfoil hats ahoy.

It has always been pencils, little stubby ones. Some of the more PEABRAINED Ukippers seem to have forgotten this though.

I'm thinking early night shortly after the exit poll, then back up at about 3am til the result comes through at 6ish, then back to bed til my usual 9:45 (unless Brexit wins and I'm too furious to sleep)

I'm enjoying the Guardian article on "quirky" polling stations. We've ha a laundrette, a shipping container, a boxing gym and someone's front room!

Plus a great pic of nuns emerging from their polling stations and waving!

So let me get this straight. British and Irish nationals can vote as well as Australians, New Zealanders and other Commonwealth citizens?

It's odd. Working with a Kiwi who has been in the UK for 3 years and he's voting. A guy I grew up with has an Italian mother, a Kiwi father and he was born in Italy. He holds an Italian passport and his older sister has a British passport. He's British in every way apart from country of birth, but he can't vote on this because he never felt the need to apply for dual nationality.

I'm intending to stay up for the results, got a feeling that it's going to be rather more duller than election nights without the exit poll catastrophes and hundreds of bitter concession speeches. Fully expecting Leave to win in my LOCALE but Remain across the UK, maybe not England.

I think I'm a bit scarred by last year, it was like falling asleep with a graze on your knee and waking up to find out that both of your legs have fallen off.

Arse! We could have got my recently-ex Kiwi housemate to apply for a proxy vote.

It does say it's a map of BRITAIN which NI is not part of.

From what i'd heard, it will look like Scotland there. Perhaps MORE red and pink.

Northern Ireland will vote Remain because all hell will break loose with the Good Friday Agreement if we vote Leave.

It would be pretty funny if Scotland (and NI) swung it. Would we still be "Better Together", one wonders?

The DUP have been pushing for Leave. I never thought it was possible to hate a political party more than I hate the Tories/UKIP!

    Edit: And the US Republicans...

Actually I hate most of them!

Indeed. Three of my workmates are Kiwi/Aussie on two year visas, two of whom are leaving in the next four months, and can vote.

The Kiwi girl beside me, who has been here 8 years but on a Dutch passport (but NZ born and bred) cannot. Very odd.

Half a million (ROI) Irish in the UK plus a million Northern Irish eligible to vote. That would be a nice boost for Remain!
