Why is no one mentioning 'Leave Me Alone' :Oi:

What is there not to love

    1) She used to be a forklift truck driver before winning Idol
    2) She is moody amazingness
    3) Her national final performance involved a costume-change
    4) The follow up 'Go Go' is just as good

    <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/-WV942NZGhg&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/-WV942NZGhg&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

    5) The performance was amongst the best of the night
    6) She is not Jari Sillanpää

I forgot to add that she is only liked by people who wish there we 'rock' apparently. She fits the bill for me.

How many years have you been watching the Eurovision Song Contest
    Since 2003, that's 5 years.

Quickly, name three countries whose entries you generally like
    Israel, Russia and Serbia.

Carola or Amina - which do you wish had won?
Amina. For the simple fact I can't stand that other creature.

Do you know who Lotta Engberg is?
Anna Charlotte Pedersen? (okay I looked that up, I had no idea)

What is your favourite winning song of the...

    2000s: Molitva

Can you sing any of the winning songs from the 1950s?
YES! I watched this compilation on the telly and somehow I knew almost every song that was shown.

If you had a Eurovision song played at your funeral, which would it be?
Take Me To Your Heaven sounds appropriate. Would pick Molitva since it sounds 'sincere'.

Is CatCat's Bye Bye Baby the greatest Finnish song ever?
    QUITE.

Which is your favourite nil points entry ever? (You can pick Pierro and the Music Stars, Little My)
Don't know. Probably a UK entry.

In which country do you live?

    England

How many years have you been watching the Eurovision Song Contest

I think 1993 is the first I properly remember although I doubt I understand it entirely, SO THEN

Quickly, name three countries whose entries you generally like

Romania (not including 2007 and 2008), Iceland, Cyprus

Carola or Amina - which do you wish had won?

    Amina by far

Do you know who Lotta Engberg is?

    Yes

What is your favourite winning song of the...

    ...2000s?
    Ruslana - Wild Dances

    ...1990s?
    Secret Garden - Nocturne

    ...1980s?
    Bobbysocks - La det swinge

    ...1970s?
    ABBA - Waterloo

    ...1960s?
Gigliola Cinquetti - Non Ho L'età (My second favourite entry of all time), I shamefully really like La La La too.

Can you sing any of the winning songs from the 1950s?
Did the UK have an entry called Feeling High High High? I could hum that, but not any of the winners

If you had a Eurovision song played at your funeral, which would it be?
Romania 2005 - Let Me Try. Because of the combination of techno, and melancholy chorus "I don't wanna say goodbye" lyrics

Is CatCat's Bye Bye Baby the greatest Finnish song ever?
Nice outfits, probably yes I can't think of anything I preferred

Which is your favourite nil points entry ever? (You can pick Pierro and the Music Stars, Little My)
I really thought Pierro was comedy genius, they had to be taking the piss - so I am seriously voting for them.

Rate the following out of 100...
(0 = Worse than Hitler, if you saw them on the other side of the road, you'd run up to them and push them in traffic
50 = Quite indifferent to them
100 = You'd throw yourself in front of traffic if you thought they would be impressed by it)

    Carola -30

Cliff Richard - 00 (Like I said, I secretly like La La La)

    Ofra Haza - 100

    Lena Philipsson - 70

    Skamp - 40 (Nice hair)

What is the most played Eurovision tune on your computer/mp3 player?
My laptop is new(ish) so I don't have all my old Mp3s, so its Sebastian Tellier - Divine, but I imagine it'd probabably be Don't Break My Heart by Nicola or Maria Magdelena by Doris if I had them on my laptop.

In which country do you live?
USA, though I wish my native California were a separate country

How many years have you been watching the Eurovision Song Contest
Before the internet, it was about impossible to WATCH in the US. Started buying the dvds in 2003

Quickly, name three countries whose entries you generally like
    Sweden, Iceland and France

Carola or Amina - which do you wish had won?
Pains me to say it but Carola.

Do you know who Lotta Engberg is?
Yes, I like "Genom Vatten Och Eld" and "100%" and she seemed nice on Så Ska Det Låta

What is your favourite winning song of the...
    2000s
    "Every Way That I Can"

    1990s
"Fångad Av En Stormvind" (Can't stand Carola, but do like this and "Mitt I Ett Äventyr")

    1980s
    "Diggiloo Diggiley"

    1970s
"Waterloo" (though I have an unnatural fondness for Ding A Dong)

    1960s
    "Puppet On A String"

Can you sing any of the winning songs of the 1950s
If "Nel Blu Dipinto Di Blu" had won I could say that, but no winners

If you had a Eurovision song played at your funeral, which would it be?
"Det Blir Alltid Värre Framåt Natten" or "Det Börjar Verka Kärlek, Banne Mig"

Is CatCat's Bye Bye Baby the greatest Finnish song ever?
Would it be cheating to say Sibelius' "Finlandia" is better?

Which is your favourite nil points entry ever?
    "San Francisco" Norway 1997

Rate the following out of 100...
(0 = Worse than Hitler, if you saw them on the other side of the road, you'd run up to them and push them in traffic
50 = Quite indifferent to them
100 = You'd throw yourself in front of traffic if you thought they would be impressed by it)

    Carola

    Personally 20, musically 70

    Cliff Richard
    55

    Ofra Haza
    79

    Lena Philipsson
100, plus all the points I have taken away from all the other possibilities here

    Skamp
    75

What is the most played Eurovision tune on your computer/mp3 player?
"Det Gör Ont" "Je T'Adore" "Looking Through My Window" and I know this will make me unpopular around here but "The Worrying Kind"

Admittedly I do prefer the XTM & DJ Chucky presents Annia version of 'Fly On The Wings Of Love' but the Olsen Brothers version is nice if you don't look at them. For some reason the Danish didn't take very kindly to me and my mate singing it EVERYWHERE we went when we went to see Ace of Base in Copenhagen last year.

On a quick analysis, for his love of Carola and Armenia, I like Baszjuh.

In which country do you live?
    The Netherlands

How many years have you been watching the Eurovision Song Contest
The first year I really remember was 1991.

Quickly, name three countries whose entries you generally like
    SWEDEN United Kingdom and Ukraine

Carola or Amina - which do you wish had won?
I was really rooting for Carola back then. But I was only 10 then. 10 year olds don´t like Amina. Carola is still my favourite of those two.

Do you know who Lotta Engberg is?
    Nope.

What is your favourite winning song of the...

    ...2000s?

Everyway That I Can, with My Number One as a close second.

    ...1990s?
    Take Me to Your Heaven

    ...1980s?
    Hold Me Now

    ...1970s?
I just have to say Ding-a-Dong here. Although Waterloo obviously was better.

    ...1960s?
Poupee de Cire, Poupee de Son

Can you sing any of the winning songs from the 1950s?
    A little (Een beetje) ;-)

If you had a Eurovision song played at your funeral, which would it be?
Hemel en Aarde (Heaven and Earth)

Is CatCat's Bye Bye Baby the greatest Finnish song ever?
    Don't know, haven't heard it.

Which is your favourite nil points entry ever? (You can pick Pierro and the Music Stars, Little My)
    Jemini of course.

Rate the following out of 100...
(0 = Worse than Hitler, if you saw them on the other side of the road, you'd run up to them and push them in traffic
50 = Quite indifferent to them
100 = You'd throw yourself in front of traffic if you thought they would be impressed by it)

    Carola 80
    Cliff Richard 60
    Ofra Haza 50
    Lena Philipsson 100
    Skamp 40

What is the most played Eurovision tune on your computer/mp3 player?
    Kate Ryan - Je T'Adore

This is a very good idea.

Does anyone have any suggestions for questions?
