Obviously being a 70s act their videos tended to be somewhat basic, but in some ways that’s part of the charm.

I’ve always found Agnetha’s PALPABLE BOREDOM in the Gimme Gimme Gimme video completely hysterical. :D

*rolls eyes and half-heartedly records one of the greatest dance tracks of all time*

It’s even funnier because Frida is TOTALLY FEELING IT. :D

That’s kind of an ABBA video theme, actually.

As EVER all of Chiquitita. Frida's barely concealing her amusement at her windswept hair and then a man walking behind that massive fucking snowman.

Also Agnetha nude and ready in TDBYC.

ALSO I Have A Dream when it pans over the children's choir and one has a fully uncontrolled running nose.

Also BANG A BOOMERANG. From the cut out of comic action shots and the wild joy in their performance.

As far as iconic Abba moments go, the being spun in a tub in front of some cheap curtains in the KMKY video takes some beating for me.

Oh, and Frida in furs from the same.

KMKY is by FAR their most iconic video.

Agnetha looking like a sack of shit, loosely tied in the middle in the Super Trouper video.

It's a tv performance but Frida amuses me greatly by slaying Agnetha in this dance off and how she managed to not topple over from about 3.20 into the video is staggering.

They were the first artists to really embrace the music video, weren't they? I think because they were big in so many countries they couldn't possibly appear live on TV everywhere, and not every country had their own version of Pan's People.

Frida's dancing + smug facial expression in Super Trouper is endlessly watchable. It's like she knows it'll turn out to be the one video where Agnetha looks like shit.
